I don’t care if people want to live in some gender-bending fantasy world, as has always been the case with humankind and. It’s only when their fantasies affect how others live THEIR lives that the line is drawn. If some queer is offended because I won’t use their chosen pronoun, tough s***. But when the law starts to recognize and support this encroachment on the liberties of others, a line has been crossed and corrections must be made.

“Gender” is only for nouns in any language. This means that adjectives change accordingly, and English has no gendered articles. “The” is “the.”
Modern English is one of the languages that have very few changes that indicate the sex of the subject of the sentence. This is because it is a combination of a Germanic language and a Romance language, both of which have changes but obviously agreed on “it” for inanimate objects, meaning that a feminine noun such as the Spanish “silla” (chair), for example, don’t have to be referred to as “she.”
They’re trying to impose something on the English language that is completely wrong.
But language has always been at the service of politics, mostly because the politicians have the power to impose their own personal language, and not because it is either accepted by the people or reflects reality.
