An LGBTQ reporter who goes by "they/them" pronouns is peeved that MSNBC "misgendered" them during a segment on women who face online harassment.
On Friday, Washington Post columnist Taylor Lorenz and 19th News reporter Kate Sosin sat down for a joint interview and spoke about how viral attacks have impacted their work as well as their personal well-being. Sosin later took to Twitter to object to being labeled a female.
"I really did not want to get into this, but I don't know what to do. It's been five days since @MSNBC pubbed this piece on gender-based harassed facing journalists and misgendered me. They won't fix it. I have asked. @19thnews has asked and asked," Sosin tweeted.

The point of this thread (which I did a bad job of composing) is that there should be "safe harbor" language for social interactions that will protect people who are unwilling or unable to participate in this obvious exercise in virtue signaling and manipulation from legal consequences.
The Pronoun police are never there when you need them.
She’ll keep nagging until they cave.
ReEEeeeEEEEE REEE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Them idiots.
... strip them nekkid and make them walk 5 miles of Atonement!! Let the citizens view first hand what “Gender” they actually are!!

Pretty sure that would be considered cruel and unusual treatment... for the citizens.
At this very moment, I’m in as real estate investor seminar in St Louis. One of the speaker assistants is a very nice young man who is pretending to be a chick. He’s probably the third trans I’ve ever personally encountered. About an hour ago, during break, s/he came up to the speaker to ask a question. The speaker answered with “Yes, Sir!”. I about spit my cold coffee. No pretentious bullsh!t here in the Midwest, I guess.
truth be told I did ponder that after I hit post!
The rule should be if you want to be referred to in the plural then you need to be big enough to be mistaken as plural.
Chronic Dissociative Psychopathology is not listed in any gender list I have seen.
Signature blocks are created by the user. In academia there is tremendous peer pressure to add pronouns to one’e email signature block. Sometimes its easier to get along by going along.
Yes you did. You wanted to “get into it” because you love and crave the attention.

Huh?
Oh…and who cares? Go away, lady.
You don’t want misgendered, show me what ya got! I’ll TRY and decide.
I also object to labeling that thing as “female”.
Freak .... fixed it for you.
They/them are plural pronouns.
The correct singular pronoun for one who is neither male nor female, would be “it”.
The face of mental illness
If she were mad because they called her him or him her, she might have a case, but this is just silly.
Also, trans is male to female or female to male. If she's a "they," is she really trans or LGBTQ or is she something else?
Shouldn’t these feminists be more worried about being “ms”gendered than “miss”gendered?
