Might also help to explain to people that Ira Einhorn was the inventor of Earth Day.

I don’t think they can even show any incrementalism.

Is the earth cooling? Are we in an Ice Age? Does this mean that citrus no longer grows in Florida?
Is the earth warming? Is it all heating up? Does this mean we can grow citrus in Maine?
Have the seas been rising for 50 years? Does this mean all the old beach houses in New England are now underwater? Any of them? Have the seas risen even half an inch in 50 years?

This whole “we’re all dead in 10 years” stuff doesn’t work if they can’t even show incrementalism over a 50 year span. Nothing is happening.

Still waiting for the ice age......
I know it will happen again, but like most geology, not in my lifetime.
Global Warming? Probably. Source? Probably started at the end of the last ice age.

Recently I was in a coastal town in main, and near the docks they had a global warming expected sea water rise. They were expecting like 6 feet by 2035. Yes, I forgot, they also blamed the decrease in lobster on a north migration caused by global warming. Obviously, it couldn’t be overfishing. The scare tactics are unbelievable.

I clearly remember as a child when they kept telling us the pollution was going to cause an ice age.

Who remembers being a kid in elementary school when they tried to scare us with this climate change crap?

Well, after reading all those WAGs in the early 1970s and buying stock in Igloo Corp and The Pre-frozen Cod Corp. I was pretty damned disappointed in the 1980s, the new WAGs were all about ...warming. Damn, I lost my shirt selling my Igloo & Pre-frozen Cod stock.
In the 1990s, I figgered I could cash in on the GloBull warming WAGs, so I bought stock in
Artic Solar Corp and Pre-Cooked Cod Corp.
Damn!

I’m still trying to get my oceanfront home have the ocean next to it. I bought it in the 1990s when liberals said the oceans will be in Kansas, I guess I’ll give it to my kids... 🤓

As a freshman in college, I had to read Erlich’s, “The Population Bomb”. Also had a number of books written in the 70’s warning of the coming ice age. The solution to said ice age? Total government control of everyone’s life. Sound familiar?

I had an environmental science class in 1979 and was taught that we would absolutely run out of oil in the year 2000.

I am a proud member of the I.A.P.I. (Ice Age Prevention Initiative).

Our organization disseminates useful information such as; how to pick out the best leaf blower, tips on how to leave you SUV idling over night and which foods cause more flatulence. With useful information like this we can all help keep our planet warm.

There are quite a few comparisons out there of old vs new seashore photographs with prominent landmarks in them. Looking at them, it doesn’t appear as if sea level has risen much at all.

When I was in HS back in ‘74, I remember being told we were going to be out of oil, Uranium in 20 years and the only thing we had left was a 200 year supply of coal.

Wow, looking at the predictions in the article it appears as though we are all dead now. This afterlife is a big disappointment.
