On the first Earth Day, April 22, 1970, the world was warned that billions would die soon because of a disastrous ice age. The Earth had been cooling for thirty years and it was about to get much worse. Crops would not survive the ice age so the people couldn’t be fed, The Earth was cooling even though CO2, the population, and fossil fuel consumption was rising rapidly, which we are told causes warming.
The complicit media dutifully repeated these warnings to scare the public with no questions and no research. The warnings were 100% wrong because they were WAGS (wild a** guesses) instead of based on scientific data.
In 1922, this was in the Washington Post to scare the public. Again, there was no research or questions or scientific data before they published this piece.
The Arctic Ocean is warming, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot. Reports from fishermen and seal hunters all point to a change in climate conditions (global warming) and unheard of temperatures in the Arctic zone. Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stone, while at many points, wel- known glaciers have entirely disappeared.
In 1989 the UN essentially gave the same warnings as 1922 and again the sycophant media reported it to scare the public with no questions asked because they don’t care when they are campaigning for a leftist agenda to destroy America.

Exactly. It’s a term of the uneducated simpleton.
Stating the obvious in current company, petroleum & methane are renewable resources.
If you want to have fun, trigger a greenie with the latter; the results are quite amusing.
I’m still trying to get my oceanfront home have the ocean next to it. I bought it in the 1990s when liberals said the oceans will be in Kansas, I guess I’ll give it to my kids... 🤓
As a freshman in college, I had to read Erlich’s, “The Population Bomb”. Also had a number of books written in the 70’s warning of the coming ice age. The solution to said ice age? Total government control of everyone’s life. Sound familiar?
I had an environmental science class in 1979 and was taught that we would absolutely run out of oil in the year 2000.
But we have at least two generations that think all those things are happening because they’ve been taught that in school and have had it hammered into their heads through movies, TV, books and now social media since they were babies. Ask almost anyone under the age of 45 and they will recite chapter and verse the horrors of Climate Change. It is part of their, dare I say, mythology?
I am a proud member of the I.A.P.I. (Ice Age Prevention Initiative).
Our organization disseminates useful information such as; how to pick out the best leaf blower, tips on how to leave you SUV idling over night and which foods cause more flatulence. With useful information like this we can all help keep our planet warm.
I like most of your ideas. Except for the last one.
There are quite a few comparisons out there of old vs new seashore photographs with prominent landmarks in them. Looking at them, it doesn’t appear as if sea level has risen much at all.
I remember those days well. Also this.

Changing the weather intentionally or otherwise weather modification..(Earth cooling vs Greenhouse effect)
“Do you suppose we can learn enough, soon enough, to pull off a balancing act with the CO2 blanket saving us from another ice age?”

And we did it! If Al Gore, Jo Biden, Obama, and possibly Pelosi who all have bought ocean front property are not worried, why should we!

The point is that the current rise of about 13 inches per century is not alarming.
This will affect almost no seacoast infrastructure within its useful lifetime.
When I was in HS back in ‘74, I remember being told we were going to be out of oil, Uranium in 20 years and the only thing we had left was a 200 year supply of coal.
Everything is an “estimate”. No sensor system, especially a space based sensor, has the ability to measure such differences. None. This is my area of expertise. I design and build these systems and there are none that are that accurate. Everything you are reading has the word “estimate” embedded in the papers.
I love these!!!
Yes but high school for me.
Wow, looking at the predictions in the article it appears as though we are all dead now. This afterlife is a big disappointment.
Hey hey hey HEY!!! EVERY day is earth day, pal.
The Earth has a feeeevvvveeeer. -Al Gore
