I'm interested in what the clever minds here consider as the most evil man in history. Was it Hitler, Marx , Judas , or someone else? Here is a late night thread to ponder this question.

I believe there will be “evil” persons in Paradise, ones who have repented before death yet whom most of us would consider to be beyond salvation.

A pathological liar is someone who is addicted to lying much the same as someone who is addicted to drugs, gambling, etc. This means that the continuous choice to do evil becomes hardened over time into habitual evil. A habitually evil person will not be in heaven even if he cynically 'repents' because God Who created the universe and all life is the only One Who can see into and know the thoughts and motives of all people.

• The guy who invented High Fructose Corn syrup.
• The founders of Fake meat.
• The guy who says I'm shocked on Casablanca.

He’s a fallen angel, and angels have never been human. In that sense, he’s not the most evil man/mortal, but I would agree that he’s the most evil being.

I do too. Three good examples are provided in scripture.

• The thief on the cross. Saved by a last minute acknowledgement of sin, acknowledgement of Jesus and asking for mercy in his own way.
• Paul, formerly known as Saul, who was tracking down and killing Christians. His life shows that he changed, but his pre-change crimes were immense.
• King David, who slept with Uriah's wife while Uriah was at war. Then ordered Uriah to the front line and ordered his men to abandon him to certain death. Yet 2 chapters later God has forgiven David and calls him a man after His own heart.
