Again, I am not pro Putin. As already stated, I don’t give a shite about Putin, Zelensky, or their corrupt nations. I take no sides in this conflict, but am sympathetic to the people who are being killed, maimed and suffering from this war.

Actually, my comment was related to the simple fact that different countries (and different people ;>) see actions differently - an action that one country sees as reasonable and advisable, may be perceived by a different country as both unreasonable and threatening. Intrinsic to my example is the human tendency to amplify potential threats that are nearby, and discount those that are distant. Your apparent insistence that hardware has to be identical for an action to be perceived as threatening suggests that you are blind to those facts.
Your "bunker" comment also highlights your perception bias - even though you know Russia has nuclear weapons, and might even be aware that they have recently threatened to use nuclear weapons, you scoff at the possibility. Is that because you have decades of direct experience working with the Russian military and political leadership, and have been a close friend of Putin for years? I doubt it. More likely, you are simply 'projecting': you quite obviously do not see non-nuclear escalation as a reasonable justification to "go nuclear", and you assume Putin sees things exactly as do you. I am not a betting man, but I would wager my life savings that Vladimir Putin sees the Ukraine situation differently than does MNJohnnie.
Finally, I could not help but notice (in sequential posts, #49 & #50) that you accuse people with whom you disagree of lying. Given that most people posting here have no financial, professional, or other motivation to intentionally deceive anyone, your claims that they are lying suggest that you consider your own opinions to be `true', and any contradictory view to be 'false'. In short, you apparently have an extreme case of 'tunnel vision' - which essentially proves the points I addressed above. Thank you!

I've lived with that threat my whole life. I'm just old enough to remember going to the basement with my mother in New York's last Civil Defense drill.
The threat of nuclear war is like Bob's Big Boy, it never really went away, so all this yammering about WWIII over Russian bluster strikes me as the same old same old.
Of course, with all the extra American air defense and ground troops, the Poles could ship the MiG 29s and a bunch of T72s to Ukraine.
Now with most of Ukraine destroyed Biden and his team of stooges do something to make it like they want it to end.

At some point it would be judicious for someone to suggest to Putin that this is Lavrov's fault along with a few others.
A Bradley fighting vehicle is not a ‘tank’. It is an armored infantry fighting vehicle. A tank has a large bore gun (120mm), these do not (25mm). A tank has heavy armor, whereas the Bradley is lightly armored.
So any translation off a European website that says "tank" may mean any armored vehicle.
Those beasties have put on some weight since I last crewed one!

Ludicrous. You can’t destroy a country the size of Ukraine with conventional weapons in a month. And those Russian troops don’t seem to be moving too quickly.

Depends on the kill ratio. Traditional ratio of attacker to defender is 4:1. If that holds here the Ukrainians will hold them off but be unable to push the Russians out without a lot more assistance. A lot also depends on how the Russians attack. Multiple attacks and they disperse their forces, so they might try Kharkov first, then Izyum area, then south, or some other sequence. Since the new commander is a “city buster” my guess is they will try Kharkov first. Meanwhile Ukrainians are also stepping up guerilla activity with IEDs.
