Only people like George W. Bush and Tony Blair will tell you that the war was still justified maybe a few personalities like Hannity and Bill O'Reilly will say similar.

The war was justified from the perspective of Iraq violating the terms of the first Gulf War and also justified since Saddam was implicated in planning an assassination attempt on a former POTUS.
Now, the aftermath of the invasion was a disaster. Lack of planning abounded, and we should have cut bait many years before we did once portions of Iraq started cooperating with the Iranians. Heck, we should have started bombing Iran when this happened.
However, with hindsight being 20/20 the justifications used were simply not enough considering all the lost blood and treasure inflicted on our country and fighting forces.
Iraq is solidly in the Iranian web now. Let them “enjoy” it.
Just my .02 and I’m against any intervention in Ukraine. Not our fight.
