Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins passed away Sunday morning after getting hit by a car in South Florida, his agent told ESPN.

You are correct in this but, also, that stats are misleading. Before he went to Pittsburg, he spent two seasons with the Redskins, played in 15 games, had a completion record of around 60%, threw 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions, and had a rating of just over 75. He had a starting record of 1 and 5. His money at the Steelers was $2.54M and was only 1.2% of the cap and he was a one year sign extended. His total contract on cut status was inside the cap and was yearly on signing with no incentives.
Pittsburg didn’t actually need his arm, they needed his knowledge as a third year quarterback on the clipboard and some experience on the field when he arrived. He was more of an asset as a sideline assistant than on the field and a supporter of the team players along with community service.

Our secretary in London was killed this way. The street outside the office had been changed to one way traffic. She looked right as normal. The traffic was now coming from the left. She stepped into the street and was killed.
Other reports now claim Haskins was hit by a dump truck as he was attempting to cross the westbound lane of I-595 between north and south I-95 in Broward County around 6:37 AM. Sunrise there is a little after 7 AM.
I ALMOST stepped in front of a car in London - looking the WRONG way. Scared the heck out of me!

Yep. The best thing I learned to get my motorcycle endorsement is that you ALWAYS turn your head and LOOK into the lane you are moving into. And, again, from watching crash videos, I’ve learned to ALWAYS look both ways before entering an intersection where the light has just turned green.
