The idea of "space aliens" from other planets or solar systems has fallen out of vogue.

Our star, the “sun” is expected to burn out in about 500 million years

The sun has another 5 billion years or so before it becomes a red giant. It's steadily growing hotter, though, and will be hot enough to kill off all life on earth in less than a billion years. If there are still technologically advanced humans around, it should be a simple matter to put a giant sunshade at L1 and keep earth as cool as we want to. (Also, Mars will become more temperate, which is a good thing.)

Once the sun goes red giant, the solar system as we have known it is over, of course.

I took astronomy in college and am pretty good with identifying unusual phenomenon in the sky. It’s really dark here at night and I’ve seen meteors, comets, satellites, planes out of Edward’s and China lake etc. I have yet to see something that couldn’t be explained.

I didn't take any astronomy classes in college, but I'll say this: people saying they saw a light in the night sky not acting as they would have thought, and then claiming it's a UFO is about the least compelling evidence that could possibly be presented.

If I understand correctly, the CIA has to approve of pronouncements made by its former officers before such statements can be released to the public. So the question here is, why the flurry of new information.
This is, after all, the CIA.

It's a more sophisticated strategy of the Roman bread and circuses to keep the public amused and distracted from becoming involved in politics and understanding what is actually happening. The media has lost containment on Hunter Biden's laptop, and then the whole of the stolen election is next.

Not according to Tucker Carlson, who has contacts in high places. And, spiritual dimensions would not use radioactivity, I don’t think.

This idea of non-alien (i.e., not extraterrestrial) comes from those high places. Folks like Chris Mellon, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (for Intel), have long eschewed the use of the term "alien" in favor of "interdimensional."

Perhaps the term "spiritual" evokes too much of a religious tone.
