Which means that if you are generally healthy and not elderly, you should wait til variant specific boosters are available. The best immunity is hybrid immunity from vaccination and recovery from an infection. It’s safer to get the vaccine and booster first before getting infected by a wild strain than the other way around.

Researchers found that people who got the second booster shot were half as likely to test positive for COVID-19 four weeks later than people who only took three doses.

But by the eighth week, both groups were equally likely to catch the coronavirus, meaning the boost from the fourth shot wore off.

2nd booster. Good for a whole 30 days.

By the 17th booster, it will be good for about 10 minutes.
