This is exactly why they WANT to legalize it - so they CAN tax the living heck out of it - growth, processing, sales, etc..

After all, this is the US Government we’re talking about..

I love that Maine taxes $0.03 per seed. I suppose you could just grow your own.

Nice thought, but it’ll never happen. Liquor and tobacco products have been taxed since forever, and there is literally no chance that both the states and feds will fail to tax cannabis. The states where it is legal already do so. Get used to it - death and taxes are the only certainty out there. Well, that and traitorous Democrats and about half of Republicans being RINOs.
