Well, this is awkward.
Cruise ship the Ruby Princess, which has a fully vaccinated only policy for both staff and passengers, suffered a COVID outbreak before docking in San Francisco.
“100 per cent safe and effective!”
According to its website, Princess Cruises requires people show both proof of full vaccination and evidence of a negative COVID test before boarding the ship.
The company did not say how many people tested positive but said those infected were “isolated and quarantined while monitored and cared for by our shipboard medical team.”
“As with all Princess itineraries, this cruise is operated as a vaccinated cruise, as defined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,” the company told the San Francisco Chronicle. “Guests and crew vaccination rates were at 100 percent.”
The ship was on a 15-day cruise to the Panama Canal and had docked in San Francisco on Sunday before the outbreak.

I always liked taking cruises but this vaccination policy has kept me off the ships.
I am not vaccinated but I would happily get on a cruise ship tomorrow if they allowed me to book a cruise in my unvaccinated state. None of this COVID stuff scares me.
I'm more likely to get food poisoning on a ship then COVID anyhow. That actually happened on one of my cruises back in 1987. I had some raw fish at midnight buffet and was about as sick as I'd ever been in my life for about two days. The people on the cruise ship were fantastic though. They brought my meals to my cabin and when I recovered, they brought a very expensive bottle of champagne to the cabin.

Oh, not awkward at all. Those who contracted the “new” infection were just not sufficiently vaccinated, they should have had their third, fourth or even fifth “booster” shots by now.
Spoiler alert. The vaccine does not work with equal efficacy in everybody. The mRNA vaccine does NOT work in exactly the manner so often described in glowing terms by overly enthusiastic champions of the elixir, because they want to use it as a treatment or even cure, and it is nothing of the kind. REAL treatment, the use of monoclonal antibodies, the hydroxychloroquine-zinc-azithromycin protocol, or ivermectin, can and do stop the progress of the disease if started early enough.
But it is the policy of the Establishment medical authorities that treatment is to be delayed until hospitalization is absolutely inevitable, then to start the treatments too late to be effective, allowing the disease to progress to a life-threatening crisis, and then to declare the treatments were not effective. Gets the mortality numbers up that way, you understand, and paints the “plague” as much worse than it actually is. As a matter of record, most people recover from the COVID-19 Wuhan virus by relying on internal body defenses just fine, thank you, with 99% or more of most demographics making a full recovery.

This article says at least 70 passengers, but doesn’t mention how many crew members were infected.

No more of a health risk than going to any other crowded area such as hotel, airport, sporting event, Trump rally, rock concert, Mardi Gras, etc.

Covid outbreak? Without reporting numbers of whatever an outbreak is as positive tests, actual reports of symptoms or deaths, the "news" is meaningless.
I wager it was an outbreak of testing,.After all, ABC reported " multiple passengers and crew members aboard who tested positive for COVID-19.. "
Why test a fully vaccinated crew and passengers? To sell "pandemic" and "tests," of course.
Reality: As of 1 April 2022, ( 6,144,226 global deaths / 7.887,097,012 global population ) x 100 = 0.078 percent mortality rate globally.
Over more than two years, the mortality rate for this pandemic is less than one-tenth of one percent.
So what is needed? More news! More fear porn! Test! Test! Test!
