An embattled foreign country is providing lessons to learn for an America stuck in a rising tide of crime.
Last week, following a wave of terror attacks and murder of Israelis, Prime Minister Bennett publicly encouraged Israel’s private gun-owners to have their weapons with them at all times. In addition, the government added emergency funding to boost the law enforcement budget, and law enforcement is actively pursuing all terror elements with alacrity. Further, many among Israeli’s military, which includes most 19- to 22-year-olds, are carrying their weapons off-base.
The terrorists have been eliminated in a couple of cases by private individuals, but unfortunately not until after killing a number of Israelis. More may be required, and Israel’s gun ownership laws are much stricter than the U.S.'s, but can you imagine a political leader in the U.S. faced with a similar scenario, encouraging such individual and collective responsibility for each other’s safety.
Lessons to be learned. Lots of guns in the right hands, God willing, can prevent large-scale horrific disasters.

A gun in the hand is worth more than two in the safe.
One big problem though. We lack organization.
As someone who lives here, the problem is that it’s extremely difficult to get a gun here.
you either need to live in the “schtachim” otherwise known as the “West Bank” or you need to be employed in the security industry.
and if you get caught with a knife in your car (like i did a few months ago) then they charge you with a felony. I had to OJ my way out of it.
At first I thought it was about America. I have been a gun owner since I was 19 and have carried at times, like when I pumped gas in North Charleston, 24.9 cents a gallon, so you can tell that was a while ago. But now that I am working in Houston, you bet I am “cocked and locked” when I drive in.
“I had to OJ my way out of it.”
Do you mean that you decapitated two people with a knife or you ran away through the airport? What the hell are you talking about?
And cultural cohesion. We've become so irreparably balkanized that civil war is certain. That or government directed pogroms to eliminate us Deplorables.

My take is that he hired a dream team of legal consultants and spent a lot of money.
A friend who owned a gun in Israel told me that he hadn’t kept up with the training (I think) requirement and one day a couple of cops showed up at the door and confiscated his gun.
lol.
I had to spend a poopload on a lawyer to get off scott free.
Justice is very capitalistic!
License and training required every 3 years. Ammo very restricted. The flip side is a lot of military and other security means someone armed and trained is not usually very far away.
I’m sorry to hear that.
The situation sounds completely strange.
Nope. We will keep ours.
Even the police in Texas know that armed citizens are better able to handle things quickly.
There are a lot of armed veterans who quietly are always present.
There are a lot of hunters who are prepared.
DC is not happy about any of that. They want maximum chaos so they can force us under a Totalitarian Globalist Slavery.
They can pound sand.

Justice is very capitalistic!
Same as speeding tickets in a corrupt state like New York.
Spend enough money on the right lawyer and the bad thing goes away.
I did, it did.
Likewise, and I immediately thought a headline more appropriate for Uncle Joe would be...
"When the Leader of your country tells you it makes good sense to open the borders to one and all on the globe."
First, it won’t be here. Second, we have no leaders. Overseers yes, leaders, nope.
I don’t have a lot of confidence in .22, .25acp or even .32acp but any gun is way better than no gun.
Pogroms. In a generation the illegals will have amnesty and breed 10s of millions of new obedient democrat party soldiers. They want us dead.
I know that’s the plan. And I hate it. But I also believe that many of those immigrants and their children will love the taste of freedom and may fight much harder for it than many a natural born, snowflake decendant of the Puritans, who despise freedom and take it for granted.
