GOP Rep. Carl: ‘On the Verge’ of Giving House Republicans the Largest Majority They’ve Had in 100 Years
Breitbart ^ | 01Apr | J Poor

Republicans are expected to do well in the November elections, but just how well remains to be seen.

Democrats hold a narrow 12-seat majority over the GOP. Flipping just a handful of those seats will likely result in a Republican taking the speaker’s gavel from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). However, Rep. Jerry Carl (R-AL) said he believes the eventual likely Republican majority will be much larger.

Newt helped get us there, but he was not the right leader to maintain it. Folded like a cheap suit to Bubba the Rapist in the 1995 budget “showdown” not even a year into the job. Sadly set the standard for capitulating “R” Speakers from then on.

The GOPe better figure out that the Republican party is now Trump’s party. Well 75 million voters think so.

I'm going to take your word for the numbers you've presented. I see no reason to doubt them.

So, if the GOP flips every single seat with a D margin of 15% or less, and loses zero, the net pickup will be 57. That's nothing to sneeze at, and I'd certainly take it.

That would mean to pick up 100 Seats, the GOP would have to prevail in 43 District with a D+15 margin.

Could it happen? Yeah, sure. Is it likely? I don't think so, but I'm not taking it completely off the table as Biden's numbers continue to crater. I think we're likely to have some "Rostenkowsi" level surprises, but not 43 of them.

The Repukes don’t want to lead and they don’t want to fight.

They are totally useless.

They will squander their majority like they always do.

What are the odds that they squander it?

**************

The odds of hearing more excuses and backtracking are 100%.

Not one government program will get defunded

And they will continue funding PBS/NPR. They can’t even manage to turn that off.

These repubs need to deal with the dominion machines, zucker boxes, mail in vote harvesting before they get TOO cocky about the red sunami

If the state legislatures actually start taking elections seriously, get rid of open primaries and ban, forever, Mail In Voting-Drop Boxes-Ballot Harvesting, there’s a chance.

Until them, every point I made applies and will continue to apply. It’s nothing but corruption and money laundering.

2) They need to govern aggressively as conservatives.

Unlikely, so long as the motto of leadership continues to be: He who fights and runs away, lives to runaway another day.

Let’s not forget that despite all the positive polling, the Democrats have perfected fraud and cheating in elections and are being supported by Leftist judgees and their rulings against integrity at the ballot box. So all this high fiving is a bit premature until we see the extent of fraud and cheating — which if history is any indication, will be massive and no one will want to address it.

"Giving House Republicans the Largest Majority They’ve Had in 100 Years"

I hate to be a pessimist - but I will bet big money that the
GOP will eff-up the opportunity massively.

- GARGANTUANLY.

Conservatives have to come to terms with the FACT that the
current GOP is UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY USELESS
in terms of defending Constitutional values or the
interests of the United States.

Politics as we have come to know it is a festering rancid evil.

There will not be a loss of zero 5-15% GOP margin seats. We will lose some of those. Someone will have a scandal. Someone will get sick and withdraw. Happens every election.

The big issue is all the Dem retirements are in huge margin districts. They are losing nothing with these retirements.

the Democrats have perfected fraud and cheating in elections and are being supported by Leftist judgees and their rulings against integrity at the ballot box.

Most, if not all, of which could be prevented with a few changes in election laws. Changes that Republican state legislatures refuse to do.

The new election law in Georgia doesn’t do all that much, contrary to popular belief and all the hysteria from last year. Georgia has had Voter ID for years. Mail In voting/Drop Boxes/Ballot Harvesting were NOT codified into law. The folks that drafted the new law, banned all three. They were forced to remove the language that would have banned all three. All three are now codified into law.

>>>They need to govern aggressively as conservatives.<<<

No can do . . . else how are they going to get all the Democrats and illegal aliens to vote for them as the kinder, gentler party? The ones that hate us will never vote for us if we make mean tweets and act harsh!

(do I need a sarcasm tag? I don’t think so!)

Republicans are expected to do well in the November elections, but just how well remains to be seen.

I expect the Republicans to do well in November, but not all that well.

In the end, many, many people will hold their noses and vote Democrat as they've done for many, many decades.

I'd love to be wrong, but sometimes I hate it when I'm right all the time.

Review all the majority GOP congresses of the past 80-years...

The ONLY one that showed a glimmer of accomplishing anything related to our Constitutional guarantees of freedom & liberty was orchestrated by the pudgy guy...

When the communists are in control of the lifeboat, they focus on shoving the heads of those in the water under the water...
All the while the GOPers are screaming for them to save everyone...

Then when the GOPers get control of the lifeboat, they stop shoving heads under water, smile, talk, and then silently row away never looking back at those still struggling in the water...

Yes, it definitely is better to have the GOPers rather than the communists in control of Congress...
However, the death of freedom & liberty is just stalled, not reversed...
