It's a binary situation — basically 50% of the population is male, and basically 50% of the population is female. There is a tiny percentage (much less than 1%) that is mentally ill and perceives themselves as transgender.

And there are some Republican politicians who have decided to screw over what amounts to 100% of the population so that they can bow and scrape before the tiny population of mentally ill people who perceive themselves as transgender and who would rather die than vote for a Republican.

Those transgenders are not the only mentally ill people involved here.

It's not just about the 1% of trans freaks. It also includes their friends, parents and other wokesters. However, none of those people are going to vote republican so GOP governors are pandering to people who hate them.

Agreed, except I’ll add there ARE genuine “trans” of sorts. People who have one type of chromosome pair but the other secondary outward characteristics. They do exist - but they’re EXTREMELY rare. I’m betting even in saner times, they were rarer than the “mentally ill” trannie types.
