The fact that Will Smith wasn’t kicked out of the Oscars and arrested for assaulting Chris Rock shows how Hollywood allows, enables, and celebrates the very worst behaviors.
Workplace violence isn’t tolerated in normal industries.

Maybe the writers didn't know about Jada's alopecia. I doubt they would allow Chris Rock to mock someone's medical condition in the woke era.

“What absolute BS. And there is nothing funny about it. Nothing like this has ever happened to the Academy Awards in its almost 100 years of existence.
A comedian, who spent his entire comedic career, basically making fun of other people, physically assaults another comedian, for doing the very same thing to his wife; a woman who admittedly cheated on him, repeatedly.
Further, he was laughing long and hard at the joke, before walking up on a world stage, and assaulting Chris Rock. Then follows it up with a loud profane laced hissy fit.
It needs to be said, if a white guy had gone up on stage and did the very same thing to Chris Rock, a black guy, for the very same reason. Not only would the crowd been incensed and outraged, he would have been led out in hand cuffs, charged with assault and battery, and stripped of his Oscar. His career would be completely ruined, and over.
Instead, Smith gets awarded with an Oscar and a standing ovation just moments later. THAT is black privilege.
The Libs wanted to turn the Academy Awards over to a Ghetto culture, and now they got a taste of the violence that goes along with it. They are the reason we can’t have nice things anymore. They killed the Academy Awards. Oscar is now dead. This was just another nail in its coffin. Close the lid and bury him.
The Left forced diversity on every aspect of our short lives. And in the process, they destroyed our major cities, that once represented the zenith of modern civilization into 3rd World decaying cesspools of drug use, welfare dependencies, open toilets, and violent crime ridden ‘No Go Zones’. They destroyed our once great public education system into a laughingstock of dumbed down, brainwashed students, and pedophile teachers. They destroyed our borders and gave us over population, more crime, more poverty, more pollution, and larger traffic jams. And they turned our once great entertainment industry into garbage, producing the lowest gutter trash human minds can imaging.
It will only get worse. Liberalism destroys everything it touches. Thanks to them, we now have a front row seat to the fall of the ‘Roman Empire’, in real time.”

I don’t know. I never watch this show but watched the unedited clip and if this is a stunt (or not) it doesn’t make me want to watch it. It’s just proof of how far Hollywood has fallen.

Two things....
First, a slap? Really? But if you want to stage a fight and reduce the risk of someone actually getting hit, a slap is far less risky that a punch.
Two, the timing. If this was right before the last block of big elawards was given out, then I’m thinking the incident was staged to goose what I’m betting were miserable ratings.
Ad time was likely more expensive around the big awards.
If this went out on social media and folks tuned in right after, Hollyweird might have gotten a decent ratings spike after this.
And that would affect makegoods and cut down on bad publicity.
Bet this was fixing to be the lowest rated Oscars on record until the staged fight.
And pro wrestling is real too, right? If it was real, the minstrel would have gone to jail.
Fake ass slap just to get the media riled up.
I haven’t watched the HELLivision in years. Every time I’m exposed to it, I’m reminded that I haven’t missed anything.
Definitely staged to hike the ratings—which have been in the crapper for ages due to extreme wokeness.
Chris Rock was not only targeted for this but I’m sure it’s because he did was in movie with Adam Sandler, David Spade & the like (Grown Ups) in addition to his history of mocking certain females.
