I don’t know if it was scripted. Will Smith seemed pissed, but then he is a good actor.
I have taken a punch to the jaw. This was a staged Oscar event. Chris didn’t even stagger.
At the slap, it looked like Smith was joking. But, when he yelled an obscenity, it was clear he was serious. Wow.

If you slow it down and get it big enough his fingers just barely get close to Rock’s point of his chine and his head was late turning until after the hand was by. Course it was staged. It was stage combat.

it was BS- a hollywood slap- nothing more- actors are trained to do ‘hollywood punches’ where they don’t even contact the person- that look like a very typical hollywood slap-
Did will get arrested for assault? Nope- not that i know of- Mr tough guy aint gonna risk gettign arrested for assault-
the three of them are laughing their butts off over it-
