If he was really upset, it would have been a punch with a closed fist.

And Chris Rock did not look that surprised or shocked and certainly didn’t stagger.

According to the web, Rock is 5'8", 170 lbs.. Smith is 6' 2" 220 lbs. Chris Rock would have been on the deck and seeing stars for 5 mins.
