Best Star Wars movie ever.
George Lucas's best film, watched it last night.

The Critical Drinker lists the Luke/Vader dual in that as #1 in the top 5 fight scenes in the franchise, I’m inclined to agree. Luke going beast mode...

The Ewoks seemed to be created to just sell “new” teddy bears. It was very cartoonish at that point IMO.

Doesn’t the former first Wookie have a part in this movie?

I always found the Ewoks a bit goofy.

Not even in the to 10. Universe United can’t stop the empire but Stone Age CareBares put on a major attack and sells more new merchandise. Dumb Ewoks.

I always liked
this ending better than the original ending.

Made no sense. Just fly over the trees instead of constantly having to swerve around them at the bottom of the forest.

I agree with you. I like it the best. Partly because it is a good wrap-up not leaving us hanging.

It was the first SW movie I saw as a kid and in the theaters no less. I love it. But Empire is the best.

We’ve been on a Star Wars binge lately.
Watched them in order of release. IV, V, VI, I, and then II last night. My fave is still A New Hope, but I have to say II (Attack of the Clones) was quite good, too.

Star Wars I (1977) was far and away the best of the series. There should never have been any sequels or antecedents.
