I thought at the time Gingrich was not the right sort for Speaker, he was good at fighting the Guerrilla War and coming up with the Contract for America, but I just did not think he had the polish and skills to be Speaker. And I was right.
Trump has been President and would never settle to be Speaker and there again he does not have the temperament or political skills to be Speaker.
How could it be bigger than becoming President when Biden and Kamala are impeached and removed?

I think he wants the fight, and a clean win.
He’s a pretty straight-forward sort of man - doesn’t seem to like doing things in shifty ‘back door’ ways.

I like the idea.
Just nominating Trump would make heads explode, which is always good. If he just held the post for a few months or maybe a year, he could move mountains and still have time for the 2024 circus. Think about changes you would like to see made to Congress.
Even if he did nothing else but root out corruption, his stint as Speaker would still be worth the time and effort.
I wonder if Trump could be both president and speaker? would certainly drive the libs to suicide.

Besides that, I think it would be a blast to watch the liberals explode and just maybe the republicans could impeach both Biden and Harris and in 2024 and the Speaker would become POTUS.

Yes, then impeach Biden and Harris together - then the speaker becomes President. The cause against Harris is her complicity in the high crimes and misdemeanors of Biden.
My comment did not suggest any such thing. I was only commenting on Trump and his ability to be Speaker.
Nancy Pelosi is a separate issue and discussion.
Interesting you can’t separate and look at the issue with any objectivity. The job of Speaker is a complex one requiring great political skill, along with a knowledge of parliamentary procedure. Which neither Mr. Trump or Ms. Pelosi have.
