Let's all try this, wonderful if it helps.I'll do it!
If running low, just get your gas the day before on April 14 or the day after on April 16. Every little bit helps.
In April 1997, there was a 'gas out' conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight. On April 15th 2011, all internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $1.20 a liter/$3.87 in most places.
If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on April 15th and let's try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

What’s special about April 15?
The deadline for taxes this year is April 18.
Yeah. People would need to make a plan to actually not do anything that day, like a general strike.
Why hurt the oil companies? They didn’t do this.
A better plan would be for everyone not pay taxes.
—yep-—
—and for anybody that thinks being an oil company is easy, try drilling a hole 12000 feet deep starting out under 800 feet of water, in a place where the government stans ready to take every bit of any profit you make-
—and besides that, all you may get is hot salt water instead of oil—
Was the Boston tea party a stunt?
Silly meaningless stunt
They will just take it out of your bank account
There’s no reason we can’t multitasking.
Hit Deep Stare in the wallet and do something with awesome optics.
For example, if everyone stopped buying any ChiCom crap for a month, I daresay that would freak Deep State.
As for something eye-popping, maybe some numbers wonk could figure out how patriots all over the country could spell out MAGA in lights at night, Big and bright enough to be seen by the space station.
“and would put $1,146,000,000 (average) into the oil companies pockets on each of April 14 and April 16.”
You took the words right out of my mouth.
Idiocy on parade.
The comparison you are attempting to make is invalid. There is no comparison, primarily because of the commodity we're discussing: Tea was not/is not a necessity; the issue was not one of supply and demand; what was destroyed could not be obtained immediately following the stunt; etc., etc. Cheers!
Why would we want to take money out of the oil companies’ pockets.
What are you? A socialist?
Perhaps you could send the money you would save on April 15th to the Oil and Gas Employees and companies who were forced out of business by Biden’s policies (and caused us to be dependent again), and all of the welders, contruction workers, etc., who have been forced out of work because of these insane, stupid green policies. In fact, try walking everywhere on April 15th. It will be healthier for you.
Oil companies are price takers and not price makers.
If you want to try to understand look a the fundamentals here:
https://www.eia.gov/petroleum/weekly/
And the futures traders greed. They are the modern day equivalents of money changers in the temple.
Claiming it is the fault of the oil producer just shows ignorance.
“”””So, you believe the current prices are due to the oil companies?”””
Anyone who believes high gas prices are due to oil companies is not using their brain. Ask yourself when prices started rising ?, when did we stop being self sufficient in oil production?
Lower your gas price at the pump by doing this one little trick. As seen on Dr. Oz.
“Christiana Dillard, as most women and many men, doesn’t understand economics.”
She does women no service.
She only reinforces the stereotype that women should be kept away from making important decisions.
Try this stunt with electricity first, let us know how it goes. Use NO electricity of any kind for a day. No batteries, no EV, no lights, no heating or cooling, nothing.
This nonsense, I guess, is what passes for knowledge of economics these days.

Your half-baked idea does not make anybody happy except Lesko Brandon and his eco-terrorist fossil fuel foes.
[[A show of numbers is a great idea.]]
It,woild be except that we don’t really, have a large enough unifying “tea-party-like’ organization to rally millions of people to things like this any more. If there were, then boycotts woild be an effective tool to fight back with. The party could, have organized protests agaisnt any company that fired employees over vaccine requirements, boycotted store chains the required vaccine passports, etc. But it would take millions of folks, and a long enough effort to have something to show for it to be effective
