We stand with LGBTQ+ people We are a group of LGBTQ+ and allies in fifth through eighth grade at Watsonville Charter School of the Arts, and are members of our Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs. We were very upset to learn about the hate crime that happened at Cabrillo College where a pride flag was burned. Having pride flags hanging up at schools makes people feel supported and heard, and having a pride flag burned feels like an attack on our identities. The LGBTQ+ community includes people of all ages, and there are many elementary and middle school students who identify as LGBTQ+ or have LGBTQ+ family members. We want our community to know that LGBTQ+ issues are important to kids as well as adults, and we hope more people will show their support for us by hanging up pride flags at their businesses, schools and homes. Supporting people who are different from you and standing up for LGBTQ+ youth makes our community stronger and more beautiful.

Memo to Self: LGBTQOU812 flags are great for starting trash fires.
Spread these around.
Sad dang state of affairs huh?
The supreme court has ruled burning flag is a form of speech and is protected by our Constitution.
As is usually the case, it’s probably one of their own people who did it.
What kind of parents allow this to go on?
The language used has the hallmark of stock, leftist activist language. Would not be surprised if it was written by an adult, or template language was provided to them.
“Daddy, what does that pretty colored flag mean?”
“Son, it means the guys who live there have a sickness. They want you to let them touch your private parts, put your ***** in their mouths or to put their ***** in your ****. Stay away from that house, and if any of those men try to talk to you, go away from them and tell me. We don’t hate sick people, but we do not let them do what they want to us.”
Of course they did, but that was before (1) hate crimes; (2) rainbow flags and (3) homo marriage. But with Katanji getting on the court with Kave-in-naugh and Roberts ... an exception just might be made.
Lot of parents don’t know about what club their kid might have joined.
1st Amendment right.

There are about 380 kids in the school and 9 signed this letter. That equates to the 2-3% of “gay” ppl in America, so no biggie. I checked out the school’s website and it’s covered in gay pride rainbow colors. Apparently they have an agenda, which is trying to normalize an obviously abnormal lifestyle.

What’s bad here is an adult is facilitating a school club that focuses on the sexuality of minors. What does this adult talk about with these kids. Do they go on field trips
