Next there will be breadless and meatless sandwiches as well. Sort of like our current vaccines.

There is nothing wrong with bread and there are hundreds of kinds of bread. One yeastless bread can be made so thin is is nearly transparent. Make a sandwich or wrap and you barely taste it. Just another fad they hope sells.

A sandwich shop without bread.
Folks who want a sammy will be disappointed.
Folks who do not want a sammy will not go to a “sandwich shop.”
The cutesy marking stuff does not help.

They are lettuce wraps, not sandwiches.

They aren’t sandwiches. They are vegetable roll-ups.

For a quick snack, my wife and I will occasionally take a slice of some meat cold-cut, and roll it up inside a slice of swiss cheese.

I will bet, really bet, they’re going to be successful. Huge market for Keto-friendly. You can make fun all you want, unless their prices are unreasonable (which a lot of keto products are), they’re going to do well.

Sounds like the barbecue that we had for my Camp Casey Hail-and-Farewell dinner in Tongduchon, South Korea ...
... wrapped in lettuce leaves ...

I can see it! Some local bakery is going to sue this breadless sandwich shop!

Lettuce wraps are popular here, five hours north of Detroit.

Carl's Jr. has breadless burgers on the menu. They're pretty good, too.

I’m looking down at my bulging waistline and thinking “I hope this place takes over some of the struggling Subway shops out here.” Their menu page features some very appealing looking roulades, er, sandwiches: https://www.eatbreadless.com/menu
