I grew those speckled cranberry beans this summer not knowing what they were. I’m still taking them out of their shells and haven’t eaten any yet. . .but I certainly will. They are huge if these are the ones you are talking about.

Yes. They are going to make meat and fuel prohibitively expensive, unless it all unravels in the meantime (which would also be no picnic). At least beans are pretty easy to grow, I guess.

I LOVE Lima Beans and Black Eye Peas but my favorite are White Acre Peas (field peas). I can’t get them in the midwest which is a shame.
