The same type of cultural revolution that unfolded disastrously in Mao’s China is taking place in America’s law schools—and it must be stopped.
People who hate lawyers like to quote Shakespeare’s line from Henry VI: “First thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers.” That’s completely wrong. In the play, it was the anarchy-demanding mob that gave voice to the sentiment. Lawyers are the bulwark of the rule of law and civil society. That’s why it matters that today’s law students and young lawyers are demanding that any lawyers who deviate from woke principles when it comes to representing people or issues must be silenced and, if possible, destroyed.
It used to be that every law student learned about John Adams successfully representing the hugely unpopular British soldiers charged with murder for the Boston Massacre. He did so because he understood a principle that I vividly remember my criminal law professor articulating almost 40 years ago: Nobody, no matter the charge against him, should have to stand alone before the awesome majesty of the government which, ultimately, is both judge and executioner.
That concept is completely lost today, something that burst into full public awareness last week when more than 100 Yale law students, through noise and physical intimidation, made it impossible for Kristen Waggoner, of the conservative Alliance Defending Freedom, to speak (ironically enough) about free speech—with almost no administrative pushback and no consequences.
Aaron Sibarium, who broke the story, has written a comprehensive essay for Bari Weiss’s Substack, entitled “The Takeover of America’s Legal System.” With example after example, Sibarium walks readers through the relentless attacks that law students and young lawyers are making on core concepts such as the right to representation, due process, and free speech.

How do you weed out the marxists from the entire education system?
There’s no saving it. Stop supporting it, let it starve. Once it’s gone, rebuild.
> “Lawyers are the bulwark of the rule of law and civil society.”
Um no. The above is an idealism that materializes on a small scale. It’s an illusion that is belied by a small reality.
Certain judges and courts have intimidated young lawyers to follow prescripted paths towards certain outcomes. If a lawyer, especially a new lawyer, fails to adhere to the unstated policy, they can face scrutiny that aims to find any error or misconduct, no matter how small, that can lead to sanctions, suspensions, discipline, even disbarment.
The hidden agendas and policies of certain jurists have historically been confined to a few known entities. When it goes mainstream, when it appears to become institutionalized; then oversight and investigation are vitally necessary.
Anyone can sue a judge, especially a dirty judge. But beware the consequences.
The same way the homosexual degenerates took over the American Psychological Association and demanded that ALL psychologist approve and embrace queer theory.
You can no longer be a licensed psychologist who is against conversion therapy. The queers have taken over the medical schools and associations.
With a large caliber stick.??
Actually, I think it goes back to the public school system and the dishonesty of the liberal teachers.. They pretty much decide who gets the scholarships.. That's where we need to to focus our attention. Am I wrong.?
“With these Maoist revolutionaries populating our legal system, our country is in danger of bleeding to death.”
One of the very few times I must disagree with Andrea Widburg.
This country has already bled out. The Constitution is now just another scrap of parchment on display in a museum, like some artifact from the Roman Empire.
I strongly believe that November 8, 2022, will be the Coup de Gras.
There is no way the (lower) courts will allow any of the election reform laws passed by various states to stand and the appeal process will/would take years.
After that, ‘elections’ will follow the Banana Republic style with only one candidate and after the election, the state media will be praising the 90% plus votes received by Fidel or Ceasar or Kamala.
And we are seeing now the Jan 6 protest results. Shouts and charges of treason and insurrection with sentences in line with the CCP and the old USSR.
Nothing new about election changes thru out history. Just
look at the processes from back in 1492 until now. Those
that have the power make the changes to suit their visions.

Culture slow march through institutions reaching into critical mass in legal systems.
Change of culture is absolutely essential to everything.
Give them the Fauxi beagle treatment.
