You can start reducing future problems now, by reducing sources of Omega-6 fat and increasing Omega-3 fats.

Monounsaturated and saturated fats do not directly affect that ratio, but replacing Omega-6 fat with either would help bring it down.

I get a lot of Omega 3s. A test said I need more of some Omega 6s.

Olive oil is one of the highest in linoleic acid. It’s not an industrial seed oil and has been associated with many health benefits.

What gives?

I did a quick search, and found this article on REDUCING Omega-3 and INCREASING Omega-6, in diets....

It’s for a specific ailment, but....the guidelines of what to eat/avoid may be beneficial.

Great,

now maybe the Medical Industrial Complex can figure out the key regulatory mechanisms that allow them to get away with declaring false pandemics and charging whatever they feel like charging for medical billing

I have been trying to increase omega 3 and reduce omega 6 for a long time. I believe the ratio between these is important for health. Oily fish is good, i happen to really enjoy it.

Interestingly almonds have a really terrible ratio on this

Yeah I am for a 1 to 1 ratio of omega 6 to omega 3. That was one of the findings of people in the blue zones. that they had ratios of 1-2 to 1 for omega 3 and omega 6.
