I am asking whether there are people here who Reed cats whether domestic short or long hairs or other breeds?

I have has a few litters of kittens out of outstanding cats and after many years have another outstanding cat who is breed able. Since cats recently in our area are all half wild barn cats with very few domestic cats giving g birth I thought it would be great to have a litter or two of well matched intelligent domestics. In our neck of the woods I have a waiting list already of folks ready to commit to an attractive and intelligent housecat.

Is your ‘outstanding cat’ a purebred one? Queen or Tom?

Cat genetics are complicated, and breeding them is complicated too. You should probably be talking to a breeder, or consulting sources of professional information -even if you just want a few house cats to give away.

(If you want to sell them, it gets even more complicated.)

Are you a serious breeder, who has CFA registered purebred cats? Or at best a backyard breeder? You sound like you’re more serious than barn-cat natures course, but just wondering.

Again, don’t we have anyone on FR that does a cat ping list?

A shortage of cats?
In our community the kill rate of cats at the pound is very high.
Unfortunately feral cat colonies are extremely common.
