I think most American boys used to have a car gene that switched on around the age of 12 or 13. For me, that coincides with the debut of the 1984 C4 Corvette which really was a revolutionary car at the time. I started watching John Davis and Pat Goss every weekend and always picked up the latest copy of Motorweek Illustrated when it hit the news stands.

Thanks for the memories and the education. RIP Mr. Goss!

Sunday nights. I think around 11 PM is when Motor Week used to air on my local PBS station. I watched it faithfully.
