What is the difference between Universal Studios Florida and/or Universal Orlando?
3000 miles.
But seriously, I know nothing about the particular attractions, except that the summer weather in Southern California is much more pleasant.
Although, being in Los Angeles County, you may have to provide proof of vaccination.
Sorry, I read that too fast. I thought you meant the original Universal Studios.
I’m going for some caffeine now.
Same place...
Same thing.
We went to Universal in Florida in October. The weather was very pleasant (shorts and t-shirt weather) and the crowds were much smaller than during peak season.
Do yourself a favor - do NOT visit Florida in the summer except for going to the beach.
Be sure and bring your woke card.
Universal Studios Florida is the park portion of Universal Orlando Resort.
location, location, location
Might be cheaper to vacation in FL.
They are both in the universe.
As per Wikipedia:
Universal Orlando (seems to be the conglomerate name for the following):
Theme parks: Universal Studios / Florida Islands of Adventure / Epic Universe
Water parks: Volcano Bay
Various hotel resorts and the retail center, Universal Citywalk
Its run by NBCUniversal.

exactly
So if you are not vaccinated you cannot go to places in California?
FINALLY, someone with the ANSWER!
It’s all wrapped up in one.
Far superior to Disney World!
Very family friendly.
A must see is The Bourne Stuntacular!
Also, Harry Potterville
They have a great parking garage.
‘Must see’ parades
Don’t come the rest of the year either, it’s horrible; hurricanes, alligators, scorpions, fire ants, poisonous toads, giant pythons, retirees from New York, vacationers from Quebec, you’ll be sorry!
We’ve been to both but that was years ago.....I didn’t see any difference. We preferred Orlando because of Space Mountain and we loved Universal in both places.
“do NOT visit Florida in the summer...”
...period. Humidity is horrific.
For summer, go to Manhattan Beach CA. Warm, dry heat, clean, sand goes on for miles, family oriented, water not too cold, surfing, and boogie boarding, and can take day trips to Disneyland with the fam. Bring lots of money...
Note: for weekends, check if there are surf or volleyball tournaments because parking at the main beach is inaccessible during those weekends.
I don’t know, probably blabbing too much. Would like to keep it a secret so it isn’t totally overwhelmed.
Or, if you just want to tour around, it is hard to beat the beauty and charm and gorgeous weather of the San Francisco Bay Area: SF itself (if you don’t mind the fog), the redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Santa Cruz, downtown Palo Alto and the Stanford Theater, Carmel and Monterey, and many points in between.
Have fun.
I believe L.A. County has a lot of restrictions.
