Of course, at the Daytona 400 your MACH-E would be dead as a doornail 130 miles from the finish.

Is that the correct link? There is a red minivan thing, no mustang.

Awesome! they managed to make the Mustang look just like every other car on the road. They should have called that the E-dsel and saved the Mustang name for... well, a Mustang.

480hp?
The bet the government will regulate that lower in the future.

No time busting cross country trips for you. No thank you.
I’ll stick with my gas guzzling planet destroying muscle cars, thank you very much.

As long as the energy density of batteries remains about 2% of the energy density of gasoline, battery powered cars remain expensive niche market toys. And getting that battery energy density anywhere near gasoline just isn’t going to happen. Thermodynamics and physical chemistry remain laws that Kongress and the greenie weenies can’t get rid of.

Service is lacking...
Son-in-law bought one, and loves it. However, when the inevitable recalls hit, the same dealer had no one trained on it, and other dealers saw no reason to do the recall work. Kids put the heat on the original dealer to do the recall work and the work done was shoddy at best, and they damaged other areas of the car. This included scratches to the paint that looked like it had been keyed (PO'd service tech?).
Kids bought another EV from a different manufacturer and are leery of the Ford service now. Nice car, but without the service to back it the deal becomes a crap shoot...
