I’m going to miss the sound of a cranked up V8, the feel of actually shifting gears and cruising with a babe sitting next to me. Quite true. My '68 GTO convertible did very well in that regard. I will consider electric when it outperforms the Caddy v-8 in all respects.
IMO, what is likely to first occur is heavy gov regulation of all things related to gasoline. The end result may well be auto gas becomes more expensive and is available only at truck stops with a special permit ($+) required.
The libs know how to play politics better than the conservatives.

With the appropriately sized wads of cash...you can still have all of that.

Was that from the Tesla incident down in Harris County here recently?

Thanksgiving weekend.
Back in 2003 was on I-5 and it took 2 1/2 hours to fill gas tank and get burgers at In-N-Out.

Have the Feds and States announced what the per mile tax will be? I didn’t think. Suck everyone in first. Kind of like the Covid vaccine.

Oh. Yeah, if they turn off the power to my house I already have a backup system from solar. If I get an EV (that's an IF, it's not decided) I've already done the math on upgrading my solar system.
As of now I produce 50% of the power I consume in my house. I bet I can also get 50% of the miles in an EV for free too. If I upgrade like I'm thinking, it'd be 90% of the power and miles for free.

When I looked into this last month, I found that most of the Mach-E GT’s physical statistics are identical to the base Mach-E’s. Has anyone else ever wondered whether the difference in performance between the two is due to a software imposed limit rather than because of the hardware of the two being different?

I’m going to miss the sound of a cranked up V8, the feel of actually shifting gears and cruising with a babe sitting next to me.All of those things can be provided electronically. They already have the V8 sound programmed into this faux Mustang. The other features will take a little longer, but Ford engineers are already working on them.

" From certain angles the one in the article looks like a mini suv. And the front looks much more generic looking than mustangs in the past."
