“This article is rich. Why are Democrats so desperate to protect the “kill your kid” laws, exactly? It’s really strange, because:
We have all kinds of birth control gizmos now. “The pill” is supposed to be like 99.9% effective if taken according to directions. There are IUDs. There are progesterone implants. There is the “morning after” abortion pill. There are progesterone shots. There are ALL KINDS OF THINGS including the traditional condom and, you know, just deciding that tonight ISN’T going to be the night.
What happened to all those things that were supposed to make abortion RARE, cuz? That was supposed to be “safe, legal, and rare,” right? There are over 3000 abortions performed every day in the US. All those gals with all these birth control options - a lot of it they’ll give you for free at Planned Parenthood or your local Health Dept. So why aren’t they being used? I’ve met gals who have had four, five, six abortions. They weren’t poor. They weren’t underprivileged. They had access to health care. They had access to birth control. They were just irresponsible. “I’m not ready to have a family right now.” After four abortions, Princess, you’ll NEVER be ready. (But that will be a great excuse for you to waste tens of thousands of dollars on “fertility medicine” when you feel like you want to make up for all the lives you’ve ended.)
Speaking of poor and underprivileged folks: Let’s outlaw firearms so people in poor communities where there’s not exactly a police presence won’t be able to defend themselves AT ALL.

I don’t believe for a minute that currently, most aborted pregnancies are unplanned. The going strategy is to use pregnancy to trap men into marriage. Failing that, the strategy is to make the baby pay with his/her life.
