It’s a simple concept; control the Sun and you can control the climate here on earth. Anything beyond that is just political thuggery BS.

Still and always, this crap about “climate change” somehow being the singular providence of all human existence is getting old.

There are so many factors, perhaps most of them still unknown or unimagined, that have an impact on overall “climate” of any era of history, that there is not yet a algorithm that could satisfactorily explain the various interactions. Carbon dioxide was seized upon as the “change agent” of climate, but its presence is far too low to be a causative factor by any stretch of the imagination. CO2 is a TRAILING indicator of either warming or cooling, and does not contribute to the process in any way, shape, form or manner.

By far the most active agent in overall temperature fluctuations is - water vapor. And we can no more escape the effects of the cycle of water from solid (ice) to liquid to fumes of steam, than we can escape the effects of life itself. There is something with water called the “triple point”, where H2O can simultaneously exist as a solid, a liquid, and a gaseous compound, at 32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees Centigrade, under conditions at the earth’s sea level. Carbon dioxide cannot do this under terrestrial surface conditions, as it sublimates directly from solid to a gaseous form under normal atmospheric pressure. Therefore carbon dioxide cannot shift vast quantities of thermal energy in the manner in which water can and does. This shift of thermal energy is what drives global warming and cooling.

This is one of the issues where Ukrainian resistance to Russia is not in the interest of the international left and "deep state."

The left wants to promote the advance of socialism and radical environmentalism throughout the West. But this war is having the opposite effect. National populations are pushing for greater expenditures on military defense, and becoming more self-sufficient in terms of fossil fuels. That is not a result that the typical deep stater would endorse.

It also is likely to lead to greater suspicion of economic ties with China as well, and a greater push for national self-sufficiency.

It's true. It's of zero importance before and after.
