Imagine that you’re a makeup artist or a production manager on a Marvel movie. You’re working long hours and barely have time to shop for groceries or get in any exercise, let alone do yardwork or socialize. But what if your house was a pleasant 10-minute stroll from the studio, during which you passed a craft beer bar and outdoor concert stage? You’re too tired when you get home to think about grocery shopping, but that’s OK, because the delivery robot has just rolled up in front of your house with your weekly order.
That’s the almost-too-utopian promise of Trilith, the town portion of Trilith Studios (formerly Pinewood Atlanta), the homebase for Marvel’s Georgia productions. Pinewood’s (now Trilith) stake in the studios and town was bought out by River’s Rock Trust in 2020. River’s Rock is the independently managed trust of Chick-fil-A principal Dan T. Cathy and his family....
Trilith is a new town for about 5,000 people, created using the principles of New Urbanism, a concept that means neighborhoods should be walkable and compact, with varied building types and less emphasis on cars — basically the polar opposite of the vast majority of tract house developments across the country...
While Chick-fil-A has distanced itself from making donations to conservative organizations lately, Georgia’s stance on political issues including abortion and voting rights continues to create tensions for entertainment companies working in the state. But Marvel’s productions at Trilith Studios show no signs of slowing down and the town will likely continue to grow.
Parker says Trilith has enough land to double the size of the town. “It’s very attractive to a lot of different people,” he says.

Honestly it sounds like a bit of Heck, a suburb of hell in bright primary colors.
Gangs will start charging at toll booths (for everything).
Hollywood has helped ruin Atlanta and the state of Georgia. This has been going on for years. Such a shame.
Little Boxes

Little boxes on the hillside
Little boxes made of ticky tacky
Little boxes on the hillside
Little boxes all the same
There’s a pink one and a green one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same
One know it all and the whole place goes commi.
I have another name for it “Hell”.
It must seem like heaven for the former city dwellers of LA, Hollyweird, NY & DC.
It must seem like an expensive joke to regular Georgians.
Seeger was a commie who hated people owning their own homes.
It would be hard to pick a winner in an “ugly house contest” there. They need to hire an architect.

“You will own nothing and you will be happy.”
No yards to speak of...
It’s like a human ant farm.
Welcome to Stalinville
Yep.
Gates/Soros/Schwab ville.
Guess who won’t be able to own certain things when living in these houses. Like firearms. They will probably have morning after pill dispensers.
What if a resident had an opinion others didn’t share? Then what?
Guess leftist don’t make enough for e cars.
And if you get fired or right sized you also lose your house.
We own a cabin that is actually a 99 year lease and have to comply with a whole bunch of restrictions. While most people would find it way too confining for what we use it for it is ok. But it is not my house. I would never live there even with all the advantages that would bring. No crime, surrounded by people who share all my major values, no worrying about the young'uns when they go out and so forth.
But I prefer to live where I do not need permission to put up a swing. Sure there is a full playground but it is not mine. I would have to share it.
Just my personal preference.
I get it.
