There was a movie called “The Rehabilitation of Jake the Snake” or something like that which was about how another former wrestler Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) changed Jake from a physical wreck with massive addiction problems into a functional person again. Halfway through Scott Hall joins the whole rehab program too. I’m not really into wrestling, I kind of remember Jake The Snake from way back when I would watch wrestling when there was nothing else on but my interest was really in the yoga program DDP sells and uses in his physical rehab work and which I have used myself off and on over the past few years. So this what all I know of Scott Hall, the guy who showed up sort of wanting help but not willing to show weakness and ask for it. And he was a train wreck. He was putting his life back together though, in his way, and I’m sorry to see it end so soon after he was making real changes.

Actually Michaels was in the NWO. The WWF/E brought back the NWO in the early 2000s and added Michaels to it for a brief moment in time, but the NWO was dead in the water by the time Michaels was in it.

Must have been a very brief moment because I don’t remember that. I do remember Hollywood Hogan continuing the NWO line long enough to face The Rock at Wrestlemania, and after that it was pretty much done completely.

Scott Hall matches will be watched for proper technique and timing to serve story-telling - something today’s egotistical high-spot performers would benefit from by studying.
2018 while working the Outback Steakhouse kitchen (Lebanon TN) some servers told me two wrestling guys were out front. Looked to see Kevin Nash and Scott eating at the bar, enjoying themselves in a place where they’re acknowledged but given their space. We’re cool like that around Nashville so I resisted the urge to thank them for the great entertainment at the expense of their health. They dropped a few hundred in tips. Class acts. Hey yo...just too sweeeeeet.
