A Georgia high school coach has been suspended after he defended himself while restraining an 'aggressive' female student armed with a loaded gun after she threw a stapler at his head.
'I don't feel like I did anything wrong,' Tri-Cities High School coach Kenneth Miller said, according to News 19.
Footage of the incident shows the student, who has not been named, shows them being confronted by another teacher before they aggressively knock a stapler out of the teacher's hand.
Miller, who is nearly hit in the head with the stapler as he confronted the student with police, was initially unaware she had a firearm at that time.
'I only adhered to what Fulton County School Board Policy says you’re allowed to do.'

Body camera footage showed the student becoming aggressive hitting Miller with a stapler as they were speaking with her.
'During that process, we located guns. We saved lives,' Miller told Fox 5.
In police body camera footage of the incident, Miller could be seen grabbing the girl and restraining her until officers stepped in and took her into custody.

That’s the worst headline - I thought the coach had the loaded gun.
Why would they suspend him because he “touched a child”?!

The girl is guilty and he did nothing wrong.
My first impression was that the coach had committed the unforgivable crime of defending himself while white. After finding out he is black my impression is that society has sunk so low that now anyone, no matter how low down on the authority totem pole, cannot defend themselves as long as the offender is a minority of any kind.
It sort of begs the question, “Would you rather be suspended or buried?”
Back in the day my coach could of thumped you and the parents would have said what did my child to wrong.\
Now it is my child can do no wrong.

The way I read the article, the teacher pulled the gun on the savage. I thought he was justified. Then I learned SHE HAD THE GUN, and all he did was grab her.
No good deed goes unpunished.
The biggest problem we in the US and the British have is the language barrier.

That poor man. I don’t envy him at all - he’s not an educator, he’s forced to be a prison warden.
And loaded.
Man. Bad. Guilty.
Woman. Victim. Good. Innocent.
That’s the level of thinking practiced by the school.
The school must apologize and pay him damages.
