Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, commenting on the military-operational situation around Odesa, suggested that the Russian troops plan to encircle and cut off Odesa from Voznesensk, unrecognized Transnistria and the Black Sea, the city is preparing for defense.
According to Trukhanov, Odesa is preparing for a possible invasion, and strategic stocks of food, medicines and long-term food products are being formed.

The Russian landing ships ran out of food and had to sail back to Crimea. And any type of a beach landing in or near Odessa will be a disaster for the Russians.
I guess the “GUN FREE ZONE” signs aren’t working....

As long as the Russian Navy remains able to land troops and supplies and control the Black Sea without any serious harassment, the Russians will continue to have success in southeastern Ukraine. The Ukrainians need more than anything sophisticate stealthy drones armed with anti ship missiles.
