Russia Makes Crazy Claim That U.S. Is Training Birds To Spread A Ukrainian Bioweapon (Updated)
The Drive ^ | 3/11/2022 | Joseph Trevithick

The Kremlin's invasion has now entered its 16th day and Russian forces continue to struggle to make real progress toward their objectives on the ground in Ukraine. In addition to turning to increasingly more brutal siege tactics in efforts to secure a number of important cities, which is causing a growing number of civilian casualties, Russian authorities look to be stepping up their disinformation campaign. Today, among other things, the Russian Ministry of Defense made a wholly unsubstantiated and outright bizarre claim that the U.S. government is somehow training birds infected with or otherwise carrying biological weapons to fly from Ukraine to Russia.

Russian Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov, the Russian Ministry of Defense's top spokesperson made the claim about weaponized birds during a press briefing earlier today. He provided no evidence whatsoever to substantiate this assertion

It's not entirely clear how this claim came to be, but it appears to be an evolution of recent allegations, also wholly unsubstantiated, from the Russian government regarding work at U.S.-supported laboratories in Ukraine. The Kremlin's core claim, which again it has provided no evidence to support, is that these laboratories are a cover for biological and/or chemical weapons programs. There have been accompanying claims that official documentation regarding U.S.-Ukrainian cooperation at these facilities was mysteriously deleted, which has also turned out to be false.

Two years ago I would’ve laughed at that statement. Now I believe it’s feasible.

From everything we have seen over the past few years, why is this claim deemed “crazy”?

I give you “The Men Who State at Goats”.

At least the US Government was not public about it. What a bunch of idiots.

When the U.S. State Dept, DNC, Soros’ Renaissance FDN, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and the Biden Crime Family and Russia are all knee deep in Ukraine corruption, absolutely nothing is out of the question.

So much propaganda, so little news.

Discernment is a wonderful gift to have, isn't it?

This is entirely believable as a project the Brandon Jinta’s US Deep State Death Merchant Anthony Mengele Fossil would fund with our taxpayer dollars, to deliver his manufactured Pandemics from his Bio-weapon Disease labs to the world. I

If he was obliged to paint your house, Fauci would send in a crew of Chimpanzees to do it.

They stole bit of propaganda from the Iranians!
Only the Iranians claimed the Israelis were doing it.

I would trust Pravda Russia (or even North Korea) before I would trust anything from the USA media, especially the New York Times paper of propaganda. /spit

No kidding...remind me again, Ms Nuland; how many bio-research labs in Ukraine were being funded by the US government? And why were these labs working for the USG to begin with, and (reportedly) continued to operate right up until the start of the Russian invasion?

“Curiousier and curiousier,” cried Alice.

Using animals to carry infectious disease is nothing new. The ancient Sumerians threw infected sheep carcasses over castle walls to spread disease in enemy strongholds.

Yah, and the writer has obviously never bothered to study any aspect of history, except perhaps what he uses to make himself out to be a victim.

Go look at what the Japs did with bats. And, what the Brits did with balloons against the Nazi.

Just because YOU lack the imagination and IQ to recognize a threat doesn’t mean it is not feasible.

People called the delivery of a weapon via a drone a little silly back in 1991.

Just seems some are fast to judge what is feasible and what isn’t.
