Spring Traning starts 17th or 18th. Opening day is April. 7th. Dh in the NL now. 12 team playoffs. 3 Game 1st round. Top 2 teams in each leauge get bies. No more 7 inning double headers or runner on second in extras.
Diluting the playoffs. I don't like it. They are moving to join the NBA and the NHL.
I not watching anyhow because of the BS, but this is terrible.

We seen it many times, one team in the League Championship sweeps 4-0, while the other team in the other league goes 7. The team that swept their series sits around for a week or more waiting for the other series to finish.
The World Series starts and the team that swept their LCS is now cold and flat, while the team that went to 7 is still hot and sharp.

I've lost count how many 7 inning double headers we've attended over the years in the minors (and a few in MLB, too).
