In the weeks leading up to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, those warning of the possible dangers of U.S. involvement were assured that such concerns were baseless. The prevailing line insisted that nobody in Washington is even considering let alone advocating that the U.S. become militarily involved in a conflict with Russia.
That the concern was based not on the belief that the U.S. would actively seek such a war, but rather on the oft-unintended consequences of being swamped with war propaganda and the high levels of tribalism, jingoism and emotionalism that accompany it, was ignored. It did not matter how many wars one could point to in history that began unintentionally, with unchecked, dangerous tensions spiraling out of control. Anyone warning of this obviously dangerous possibility was met with the “straw man” cliché: you are arguing against a position that literally nobody in D.C. is defending.
Less than a week into this war, that can no longer be said. One of the media's most beloved members of Congress, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), on Friday explicitly and emphatically urged that the U.S. military be deployed to Ukraine to establish a “no-fly zone” — i.e., American soldiers would order Russia not to enter Ukrainian airspace and would directly attack any Russian jets or other military units which disobeyed. That would, by definition and design, immediately ensure that the two countries with by far the planet's largest nuclear stockpiles would be fighting one another, all over Ukraine.
Kinzinger's fantasy that Russia would instantly obey U.S. orders due to rational calculations is directly at odds with all the prevailing narratives about Putin having now become an irrational madman who has taken leave of his senses — not just metaphorically but medically — and is prepared to risk everything for conquest and legacy…

I don’t find it hard to believe that the globalists would push for a war if they thought it would serve their long-term goals. These are people with an unlimited sense of entitlement and a belief that there are far too many people in the world.
Anyone who who condemns Pelosi’s effeorts to increase American’s involvement is labeled a Putinista by you and the other warmongers. You clearly support her agenda. Some of the more rational here don’t want WW3 however.
Greeting puny humans is one of a few turds in the punch bowl floating around FR these days. If you are not all in on WWIII over Ukrainian independence then you are instantly call a putinista or some other ridiculous name. You are not allowed to dislike both sides. The globalists are infiltrating the right at breathtaking speed.
One of the many slanders from WWI.
Along with many others.
If you really know your Bible prophecy, you know that God Himself is the one who will push (or rather pull) those people into that war, not men:
"and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws, and bring you out with all your army..." (Eze. 38:3-4, emphasis mine)
War, for most living Americans, is something they've never had to experience. A miniscule percentage of the population, mostly volunteers for the past 50 years, has gone off to some faraway country to do the fighting while the rest of America stayed comfortable at home, fat and happy.
This one might be different. There's a very real potential that Americans might not escape unscathed. There's a very real potential that we could see cities obliterated.
I don't think a lot of people are really thinking about this.
I am. That's why I kinda get pissed when some Twitter bleucheque starts harping about "Why can't we enforce no-fly zones?" We're used to treating our enemies as someone who couldn't possibly touch us. We're treating Putin on the same level as Saddam, Gaddafi or Bashar al-Assad, some 3rd rate ruler with a 3rd rate military who we can wage war against while the rest of the country watches football and goes shopping. This is a mistake.
I’m very worried about where we might be heading here.
A good quote I found on Twitter that really hit home with me:
"There is a grotesqueness about so many soft-handed grown men, who've never been punched in the face, have no decent scars, and haven't done a day of hard labor in their lives, Twitter-howling for blood in Ukraine like the most effete Roman spectators at a gladiator match."
Of course. The thought is that the demonic NWO people also know the scriptures (Ezekiel 38-39) and are driving Putin to his destruction in Israel. I could be wrong…
Actually, I label anyone that who sits here and says: (1) The West caused this war by "provoking" Russia with Ukraine (insert all the usual bullshit about "promises" not to expand NATO, despite Russia violating every arms agreement they've ever signed with us since 1991, and despite the fact no NATO country bordering Russia is a threat to them), (2) Ukraine is a Nazi state that deserves to be destroyed, (3) and Putin is a Christian hero fighting the deep state in Ukraine (and insert BS about hidden biolaps and nuclear programs that have reared their head over the past couple of days!).
Most of the people I've responded to have expressed one or more of those opinions, which makes them Putinists.
You WISH that were my position! Sadly for you mental patients, it isn't.
They are all in for their Great Patriotic War!
Keep in mind the original narrative sold to us on FR by the Putinists:
The massive army forming at the Ukrainian border was no threat to anyone.
Western concerns over that army and warnings of an imminent invasion were "unhinged war hysteria" from "globalists and neocon war mongers."
I recall even claims on this forum that Biden was going to perform a false flag attack and force Russia to invade Ukraine.
What happened?
No "false flag," other than a bunch of stupid BS from Russia that they put zero effort into, and... an invasion! Unprovoked! Raw! Criminal! From three separate directions!
So every time someone tells us this is a George Soros conspiracy on this forum, they're doing so under circumstances where the only party responsible for the war... is Russia!
And in order to maintain this fiction, they repeat Russian propaganda about Ukraine being run by "Nazis"--as you will see from many posters on this forum--and bullshit arguments about how Russia felt threatened by the potential of another NATO country on it's border! As if a country with more nukes than the US, UK and France combined could be concerned about anything out of NATO!
No way - you called many who question some pro-Ukraine news reports as fales propaganda to be Putinistas. Anyone who doesn’t take your side on everything gets labeled as pro Putin. Many of us don’t care one way or the other - we don’t support or oppose either side. We just want to stay out of it. Completely. It’s Europe’s problem not ours. But you just seem to relish WW3.
“ The instigators are here in the States”
Still angry the Czar was mean to their ancestors.
Go check those posters again. I've been debating them for at least several weeks.
Of course I jump on them for their BS about "western propaganda." They're purveyors of Russian propaganda on this website.
I don't remembner you, which is why I am being so nice!
Oh, so whatever you agree with is true but everything else is propaganda. Classical warmongering.
You missed the other option, the one that is unfolding and predicted by WWII on the eastern front.
As Azov and almost all of the Uke army, is in the east where they have spent the last 8 years.
They are engaged by Russians and thinking they are holding them back.
But from the north and south, the salient is closing and soon they will be cut off with no air resupply. The forces cutting them off will probably bypass Kiev. Probably happened 30 times or more in WWII to the original nazis.
Azov should have read some history. I think they know and thats why they want a “humanitarian corridor” from Kharkov into western Ukraine.
I am sick to death of spilling blood for these other countries. Europe needs to bleed, and bleed badly before even a thought crosses anyones mind about the USA going over there.
Piss off any of you war mongers. I served, you can KMA.
The big difference between me and you is I give reasons for my positions, while you appear to have learned to use the word “war monger” but without learning the definition!
I’ve responded to every point you’ve made and forced you change your points. But for warmongers only their “reasons” count.
