Isn’t it fascinating that so many on the “left” and “right” both see the same thing?
I often said if you ignored the media characterization of idiots in the streets that most people here on FR agreed with the premise of Occupy Wall Street. Same thing for the TEA party which was quickly marginalized and dismissed by the elites.
They were both roots of the same tree that the globalist quickly chopped down.
Wow. Kudos to Brand for seeing the global leftists trying to distract us with Russia and Ukraine.
...the globalist quickly chopped down...
__________
Not for nothing, but the deep staters/globalists took their sweet, sweet time laying their axe to the root of that particular tree, leaving distinctly open and reasonable the potential inference that, in that instance at least, the protesters were doing the bidding of the deep staters/globalists, rather than opposing their designs
I didn't have much regard for him in the past, but he's stepping up to the plate BIGLY these days.
Not this guy. At its core, Occupy Wall Street was fundamentally anti-capitalist. That was the one unifying principle it had. They wanted a more powerful government that would seize assets and redistribute them to people or causes they deemed worthy. And there's no way in hell I was anywhere close to being in agreement with that.
Don’t forget the vaccine passports the Globalists have in store.
Yes, it’s interesting that lefties like Tulsi Gabbard, Glenn Greenwald, and others (Brand?) see this threat, as do conservatives and libertarians, but the Establishment neocons and progressives somehow don’t.
Look up Cloward and Piven, the bottom up/top down strategy.
Brand is always interesting. We will disagree about some stuff, but that’s cool too.
To clarify I am not disputing their ultimate goal, but their view that our system had been hopelessly corrupted was not wrong.
To clarify, I agreed with their premise but never their “solution” which would only trade one corrupt structure for another.
Isn’t it interesting how the media quickly destroyed both movements and marginalized them?
Brand has been oddly conservative lately. Kinda refreshing.
