When corporate goes Marxist

Would you hire a Marxist to help you find your company’s next CEO?

It is rare when watching golf on television prompts a discussion of historical materialism and the state of socio-economics in modern society, but, well, here it is:

Would you hire a Marxist to help you find your company’s next CEO?

From an advertisement run Sunday by executive recruitment (amongst other specialties) Los Angeles-based consulting firm Korn Ferry during the telecast of the PGA’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, it seems the answer they are looking for is “yes.”

Korn Ferry, while not nearly as large as their equally-egregious competitors like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, McKinsey, etc. in the international “consulting” firm world, does at least have a connection to the golf world – it is the title sponsor of the PGA’s development tour.

But it is not the golf that is at issue here – it is the status of the dialectic in modern, - of all places - corporate culture that is of most concern. Here is the ad itself, taking from the company’s Facebook page, a slightly shorter but just as jaw-dropping version of which ran during the tournament.

Why does this not surprise me. Many CEOs already are famous for their radical leftism.

If corporations were truly interested in equity, blacks would own 13% of the stock.

Talk is cheap, tokenism is affordable, shares are costly.

Not Marxist, but fascist.

Under true Marxism, welfare recipients would have to work and contribute according to their capability.

The bigwigs love big government, which hands out big money to the lazy, who don’t really care about getting value for their handout money.

I always love how entitlement gives one group rights that another group earned. All socialst national takeovers have one thing in common; three good years, followed by a 15-year slide.

The United States should have got out of the business of funding European Socialism baked into the Marshall Plan. Trace the 25-year program to shore up Europe after WWII starting in 1947/48 and you see the VAT “sold as a tempory program” in European countries that was designed to replace the loss of spending money coming from the USA.

By 1971 every nation in Europe was laboring under Value Added Taxes as permanent programs eventually averaging out at 21% rate.

European countries get between 59-70% of every paycheck, then they add an average of 21% after purchase (Teaser Math Question - if you take 50% only 50% remains and if you take 20% from the remaining half you get an effective rate of 40% on the simple middle class. Petro in the EU used to be about 8 USD an imperiel gallon.

Secretaries and janitors are taxed at 50%. They were making 60K euros in 2002 (a doctor or high wage earner making between 70K-100K Euros was taxed at a regerssive 70% aftertax rate - Result is everyone gives according to their abilities but all are basically equal. Janitor takes home 25-30K and a doctor takes home 30K. Doctors do what they like and payback for their education.

When my Dutch telephone secton has 25 line techs for the NATO Schiennen - Brunnsum - Galikirken AFB footprint, I only had 3-4 who would work hard; the rest hid behind equality of effort and he who did the least Wins attitude.

America is trying to become integrated into the EU (gloabalism) by making everything same-sized packaging or price per unit. Instead of 1 lb we have 1000L or 8.x oz is 500 ml. The product costs the same percentage according to theory across all national boarders in trade zones.

In terms of ‘totalitarianism’ as government ...they are the exact same thing. That’s an immutable fact that Liberals CANNOT grasp!

100% agree. Both man-centered big-government ideologies with almost the same philosophical foundations. Also, they signed a pact.

Excellent article.

By focusing on the facile diversity of genetic pre-determination instead of the actual diversity of thought, those same firms can keep doing exactly what they are doing forever. Pushing this kind of outcome (if history is inevitable then why should they bother to spend time and effort to promote it, but that paradox may be best left for another time) may not be because upper-upper management is too confused by and/or afraid of the legions of 28-year-old dormice they have hired to run their marketing and social media efforts, but because that is exactly the end that is sought – self-domesticated drones culled and lulled by the proper gatekeepers into preserving a system that can only be described as neo-feudal.

The premise of the ad is that "real change" has never happened, but oh now the superficial, genetically-predetermined, superior diversity drones are going to make it happen.

Sure, the same way the alphabet people can win spelling bees by burning all of the dictionaries.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, dictate.

Is an ego-fest for unproductive control freaks.

History... won't be kind.

"This is the moment."

It's like the group projects in grade school. The A student [who is otherwise resented for his diligence] suddenly becomes the most popular kid in the class when the groups are being chosen.

The slackers know that "they" will receive an A on the project if they can be in a group that contains a real student.

The ad reveals the mentality of those who spent so long receiving those "A"s that they are convinced that they earned them. Ergo, no need for anyone who can actually produce. The diligent are racists and haters... terrible people. Might as well take their stuff, too.

I did like that the ad included a Downs woman when Downs babies are aborted so often.
