But it still takes electrify to charge an EV vehicle. It’s a virtual signaling purchase. Nothing else. Oil still rules.

I want them to NOT do any of that.

Patrick Henry agrees more with me than with them. Same solution may apply...

Go buy one and feel better.

Half of the USA is one paycheck away from very hard times.

Where is that magic car money? Where are those magic chargers?

God help you if you travel 500mi a week like me for my livelihood.

I didn’t mean to say I have one. Or could afford one now. I just think over time they’ll get better and take over. Maybe by 10 more years.

I don’t understand the luddite POV, never have. But seen it from PC’s to cell phones.

All my vehicles are paid in full and have been for years. I keep vehicles for ever. I am diligent in keeping up on proper maintenance.
SO, in order to “save me money” is the fed going to give me an electric car. OR trade me even up for a 4WD Ford F-150 Lightning or a Rivian for my 07 Diesel 2500 quad cab truck.
OR trade even up of my 2018 GMC 4WD hatchback SUV for an electric equivalent.
Let alone the cost of installing a high rate charging station.
I tow a 7,000 pound camper for my self and a 5,000 pound Boy Scouts and the other charities.
I also use my truck to help out on the family farm, will I be able to haul over 2,000 pounds in the bed, or tow up to 12,000 pounds.

How about the white house doing what is right, and quit begging our enemy's to provide for us and allow proper supply side economics policy to prevail.
Quit hamstringing the oil industry.

All true: the end game is control all travel and eliminate petroleum-fueled vehicles to control the oil industry - always the goal of the communists.

It isn’t Luddite.

The goobermint did not develop the ICE. They did not develop the gas station.

Hell, they didn’t develop battery technology or even the harness of electricity.

It is their damn job to protect the border and stay out of the way.

So you cannot see it.

I hear the price of buggy whips went up 4 fold in 1910.

The price of buggies themselves went up 10 fold.

All because of goobermint..... NOT.

They are trying to destroy what drives this economy.

I have no problem with EV’s but the market will decide.

The marxist left will not.

If they make petro 10 bucks a gallon your just going to kill half the world.

President Trump showed 2 bucks is very sustainable. He had to go.

Get it?

I get it. I’m for the free market deciding if EVs or gas goes on. I have a feeling EVs will win because they are improving fairly quickly while ICE cars are not.

If ICE cars improve or are more efficient or cheaper to buy/operate for the rest of my life, great. If it’s the other way, fine. If it’s $2/gallon and takes a long time for EVs to be worth it, great.

Well, just look at the very first thing joe went after.

Now look where we are.

The guy is negotiating with Venezuela and the House of Saud because of optics.

God forbid he goes back to independence of oil in the USA.
That will piss off all the people who are pissed off all the time.

All under the guise of EV.
