I don’t care who we buy oil from as long as we get oil. Theoretically, given that crude oil is a finite resource, better for the USA to purchase foreign oil as long and as much of it as possible.
Strategically thinking, a couple hundred years out, we want our natural reserves in the states to be the last to deplete.
