The key to victory is turnout of your base, i.e., white voters. It is important to expand the party, but first comes the base.

Run people to woo working-class Democrats to the Republican side. It will be an easier task than blacks who are dependent on the continuation of Affirmative action
A common lie here, and a big one. I have a low income so I’ve known thousands of black people over the years, including in all sorts of ways receiving actual help from some of them, unasked! Often times when I don’t even personally know them too. And so often I’ve just been treated fairly and kindly by them, too. I must have at least 10,000 examples that utterly put the opinions of some here to shame.
I haven’t gone into this situation here, but in recent times I was homeless, and part of that time on the street homeless. I’ll anticipate the responses and say that it was due to physical problems on top of others, like no close family. And add I don’t use drugs or alcohol and have worked hard all my life. On shelters, I’ll say that there can be huge problems with them.
In any case, it all just strengthened my Christian faith, and that was certainly one of God’s purposes for it.
And the point as far as this thread goes:
While on the street, I had no income and didn’t panhandle. I wasn’t visibly homeless except for having several bags with me. Occasionally people would just give me money, totally unbidden by me.
And on three occasions, I recall, it was young black people, pleasant personalities, giving me a couple of dollars. Another time an older black woman walking her dog saw my tote bag had a tear in it and went to her apartment and came back with a very nice suitcase for me.
Once when I didn’t make it into one winter shelter at night because a cart I had broke and suddenly I was having to go through all my things piece by piece to figure out what to keep and what to leave, a black man, a pleasant construction worker I didn’t know, saw me and offered me a ride. He nicely dropped me off at another shelter so I didn’t have to spend the night outside.
And then I had a storage locker. It was so vital. At least if I had to be outside, I didn’t have to drag around all my things. Had a place for clothes and laundry detergent. Supplies like hand cream. Papers, my few possessions I still had. And blankets since it was autumn. Money for it became an issue, though. This was during covid so I had that first QE. But I spent quite a bit of it on a couple of air bnbs, hoping I’d get into a housing program while there so I wouldn’t have to be on the actual street. But that didn’t happen.
God kept getting the storage rent to me, though. One month, a dollar here, a dollar there. One time I was able to work with a program picking up trash. Another time I found two cell phones in a park and got them back to their owners and they gave me a reward. There’s another to that since I felt conflicted about accepting a reward, as a Christian.
Anyway, one cold afternoon, I was sitting outside in the city’s downtown. I had a couple of small Christian signs next to me, one with a few Bible verses, their chapters and verses. I made these signs at first because people occasionally just gave me money, and I figured some people wouldn’t want to if they were aware I was a Christian. But it was also a way to bring up God, and many people asked me what the Bible verses were since there was just chapter and verse on the one sign.
So I was sitting there one cold afternoon, and a black man sat down not far away. He started praising the LORD, so I did. Then he prayed for me, so afterwards I prayed for him. He happily thanked me and said he wanted to give me something. He handed me a $20 bill. I told him it was miraculous timing, and at that he reopened his wallet and gave me $10 more. I explained that was even more miraculous because it was just what I’d needed to pay my storage bill. I ended up with about 15 cents left over.
I have had many good experiences with black, as well as some bad, some that somewhat fit the stereotypes and everything in between.
In terms of charity to homeless people, both white and black churches will go out on the street with food and supplies, and will visit shelters too. Several black girl scout groups too.
And then there’s common courtesy. Just the other day on a bus, I accidentally forgot to take my transfer from the machine after paying. As I was sitting down, the pleasant black lady driver started calling me about the transfer. Surely, since I’m white, she might not have bothered.
I often think about the testimonies I have about black people, the truth that God sees and knows. Plenty good and plenty bad. He sees that with people of other races too.
Here’s another recent example.
A couple of weeks ago, I got on a bus after grocery shopping. I have a small cart for groceries. I’m not homeless now. The cart is just for shopping. The bus was pretty crowded and it’s not easy to find a seat where the cart easily is fits. There was seat in the front where people in wheelchairs sit, but the seat was up and I couldn’t get it to go down. So I was just going to stand there. Immediately a black woman tried to make enough room for me to sit with her and the black man behind me tried to get down the seat that I’d struggled with but he couldn’t either. So without a word he moved back so I could have his seat.
Because constantly following the DEMs to the left has served the moles and traitors so well...
I’d be pleased as punch to see millions more black conservatives join our ranks. Not a lot of indications that it is the case, so far.
If white evangelical Christians, many upper middle class, increasingly find themselves having a hard time, it’s that much harder for black people with conservative views.

Black conservatives, God bless them, but there aren’t enough to turn an election. Concentrate on the Latinos, enough will be with us to win.
I hope you’re right, but he doesn’t seem to be the brightest light. Hope he can survive the vetting he’ll be exposed to
TX Republicans have to get on his case and stay on his case to steer him away from RINO positions. The best way to do that is to demand that he explain those positions in detail.
We all love black conservatives.
Justice Thomas is the pinnacle example.
And it is because they are conservatives.
But we are all deeply offended when they are given unearned stature because they are black.
Black skin alone is some, but not that much of a benefit. There needs to be a conservative flavor of wokeness that builds instead of tears down the rest of America, and actually builds black Americans besides. Good black Republicans won’t ignore black folks’ common issues but rather find ways to incorporate resolution of those issues with the conservative toolkit, as well as draw from the fact that lots of black Americans are at least socially conservative. And Republicans have to be the first to celebrate that black folks are a special and core part of the US heritage rather than this view as simply another minority like the illegal mexican swarms, or all the Indians and Chinese scrambling up all the seats in our nation’s graduate degree programs.
No, what is troublimg is that this is saying most black people will only vote for a “conservative” if that candidate is the same race as them.
These are black people that already have conservative values, yet need to have a black candidate or no deal.
Or so it seems.
There is a sector of American society that I call Afro Heritage minority monority. They are good Americans of color but are not afflicted by the plague of being Black. Enlarging that group even marginally will destroy the Democrat party. Democrats kiss Black ass because if they don't the party disintegrates.
Black has degenerated into a political term and those who chose to be Black are the bad guys.
