I love my country. But I have a problem with the current occupants. Americans are fat, fatuous, failing and flailing.
Let’s look at some evidence. A serious people:
*Would not imagine for even a second that the way to reduce crime is to defund the police.
*Would not seriously contend that the way to reduce inflation – a natural effect of too much money in circulation chasing too few goods – is to increase even further the amount of money in circulation.
*Would not allow biological and even anatomical men to beat women in women’s athletics simply because those men say they feel womanly at the moment.
*Would be supplying its own energy needs rather than sending money to the butcher of Kyiv, as if burning Russian oil does not emit greenhouse gas but burning American oil does.

Seems to me we, as a nation, fit the description of Sodom in Ezekiel these days with a pretty close match. Their problem was NOT just sexual sin:
Ezekiel 16:49 “‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. 50 They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.
First world problems make for weak people.

There are few public mental institutions left to send the destitute crazy people to. There are private sanitariums for the rich but there are few options for the poor crazy homeless. Even if money was found for them, there aren’t enough people being produced with the ‘calling’ and the personalities and drive to care for such a huge needy number. Regular nurses and aids are in short supply as it is and still fewer are available who would even consider taking care of the mentally and dangerously deranged!

A serious people would not be complaining about the damage the biased media has done to the country while simultaneously paying subscription fees for the privilege of being entertained by them.
A serious people would not talk about their WOT against an ideology that is bent on world domination while simultaneously sending their manufacturing and technology to a nation with a government that is also bent on world domination.
A serious people would not denounce the evils of communism while sending their manufacturing, technology, and consumer dollars to a communist nation that embodies all they denounce.
A serious people would not have encouraged their children to get into debt for degrees in technical fields while simultaneously shipping those jobs out of the country, then condemning those same children for being unemployed cellar dwellers.
Which side did all of this again?
