LOUISVILLE, KY. — A Kentucky jury on Thursday cleared a former police officer of charges that he endangered neighbors when he fired shots into an apartment during the 2020 drug raid that ended with Breonna Taylor’s death.
The panel of eight men and four women delivered its verdict about three hours after it took the case following closing arguments from prosecution and defense attorneys.

I hate to think this, but, are riots going to break out?
Sometimes juries rule correctly in such cases.Depends largely where the case is heard.
Don’t bet against it!
Why is it important that the jury consisted of 8 men and 4 women?
Remember too, the jury heard all the evidence which may not have been public.
For example, I had heard that Breonna Taylor was sadly collateral damage, and that her (fill in the blank) boyfriend initiated the firefight with police, which resulted in her getting shot. If that’s true, it is a very different situation than the “black lives matter” folks told us.
Do I have this right? He DIDN’T endanger anybody by firing off a round into the house next door? Handy defense to know about, I guess?
The sex breakdown of the jury shouldn’t matter. I’m surprised they didn’t mention the racial breakdown, as it’s a racially charged case.
MOLOTOV COCKTAILS!!!!!
“I hate to think this, but, are riots going to break out?”
My thought is, it all depends on the weather. If it’s a warm weekend, game on. Cold and it’s back into hibernation.
DRUGS all the way down, and Louisville paid her family 12 million tax free dollars. She was worth more to them dead than alive. They will blow the 12 million payout within three years.
I have zero sympathy for those who get involved with scummy drug pushers. Live by the sword, you might die by the sword.
Many women are overly emotional which can lead to undeserved sympathy for criminals.
Then he should be reinstated and given back pay.
“I’m surprised they didn’t mention the racial breakdown”
From the article:
“the jury was reduced to eight men and four women after three alternates were dismissed. The judge declined to release details about their race or ethnicity”
“Then he should be reinstated and given back pay”
Agree.
If it were me I’d get my pay and get reinstated and immediately quit.
IMO, he should have been held responsible for discharging his weapon into the adjoining residence.
It’s hard to keep your wits when a fellow officer has been shot; nevertheless, public safety is supposed to be their overriding concern.
Maybe they need to re-examine the practice of no-knock raids in an apartment complex.
Well, time to smash some windows, burn down buildings and steal that 65” big screen I’ve had my eyes on.
I guess he "SAY HER NAME" enough times.
Who knew that would actually do any good.
Looting tweets and instagrams probably sent.
