Russia's military is weak and backwards.

Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine produced this paradigm-shifting surprise—one that should transform the West's view of Russia's prowess, the threat that the country represents, and the Kremlin's future in the global arena.

You’re right. Not our circus , not our monkeys. We have no more southern border so it looks like the Bush wing of the GOP finally got it’s “North American Alliance’’ or what ever they call it and we’re now being flood with the human garbage from Mexico and Central America in record numbers.

True, but what they lack in skill and ability they make up for in willingness to destroy everything in their path and kill every civilian the come across.

Look at what they did in Georgia

Weren’t they the Wagner Group or some other mercs? I don’t remember any actual Russian Army involved - but could be wrong. Plus Georgia had smaller military.

It’s clear, that for whatever reason Russia has not utilized its air superiority in this campaign

Maybe their AF is no better trained than the ground troops and don’t want to risk that revelation to the West?

I believe the Russians are trying to use the same tactics.

"Tanks and APCs are useless.........................."
Terrific weapons if you're fighting in the trenches of Belgium and France a hundred years ago.

...and also terrific weapons for terrorizing civilians - something to remember...

Here is Col Douglas Macgregor from Tucker Carlson Tonight 3/1/22. He seems to one of the few that actually uses logic and not emotion to give his perspective on the events.

Absolutely. We here in America have a perverse view, that if you don't shock and awe and roll over everything that your military is just plain crap.

Very immature and stupid thinking. Sort of like "let's create a no fly zone" over a nuclear power, yeah that'll teach em.

You are being foolish.

If you think Russia does not have cruise missiles or large scale bombing capabilities then you really have swallowed the blue pill.

The entire Ukrainian Air Force is 225 total planes… no not 225 fighters or bombers, 225 total vehicles.. Russia on the other hand is estimated to have around 4000 aircraft.

If Russia wanted to, a single mission of a fleet of Tupolev Tu heavy bombers could literally turn any Ukrainian city to Rubble. It is abundantly clear that Russia is intentionally not trying to level the country.

While I doubt things are going exactly to Russia plans, no plan survives contact with the enemy, but this idea that UKraine has Russia on the ropes is comical.

If satellites truly show how many mile long convoys heading to Kiev, this tells you all you need to know about what is actually going on on the ground if you stop listening to fools abs think.

If Russia can maintain a 100 mile long convoy marching steadily toward Kiev, they are NOT losing. This propaganda that Russia has an incompetent military is foolish.

It is only a matter of time, barring something drastically changing, that Russian forces will reach and surround Kiev and it will then be a siege position.

Ukrainians I am sure are doing their best to make Russia pay as much as they can, but if Russia was really “in trouble” or incompetent, that 50 or 100 mile convoy would look like the Highway of death from the gulf war, not advancing everyday toward their objective.

“Now they say that the allies never helped us, but it can’t be denied that the Americans gave us so many goods without which we wouldn’t have been able to form our reserves and continue the war.”

“We didn’t have explosives, gunpowder. We didn’t have anything to charge our rifle cartridges with. The Americans really saved us with their gunpowder and explosives. And how much sheet steel they gave us! How could we have produced our tanks without American steel? But now they make it seem as if we had an abundance of all that. Without American trucks we wouldn’t have had anything to pull our artillery with.”
—Soviet General Georgy Zhukov

So I make a simple analogy and you write an opus?

What makes you imagine the Russian AF is any better that the ground troops? Media hype? Russia has a lot of stuff, but it only sort of works and then only some of the time. Which is why they make a lot of each item - use it til it breaks or runs out of fuel, leave it and move on. They seemed to be out of smart bombs yesterday. Now just dropping iron.

The convoy, which has not been able to move, is only estimated to be 40 miles long, not 100 miles - unless more units have been added at the rear.

You do know this is not the Russian Army of 60 years ago when we faced 400,000 mechanized troops with 35,000 tanks 4 km away in just one sector of Germany? The idea then, as you must know, was for several thousand troops and tanks to reach the English Channel in 72 hours - after use of tactical nuclear weapons.

You are sounding like another Putin bot.

“That and the USA supplied a lot of hardware”

On paper Russia won with its own tanks and planes... but the US provided vast amounts of machine tools, locomotives, trucks, food, etc. Basically we rebuilt their industrial base better than ever. I wonder how many US made tools were still in use twenty and forty years later. We gave them such a good foundation it carried them on momentum most of the way through the coldwar.

Russia's military is weak and backwards.

Apparently so, if the stories we are hearing about the convoy are even close to being accurate.

Having done that sort of thing myself in the dark and distant past, I think the Russkies would have to be incredibly incompetent.

Incredible. Yes. That's the word.

The western media and specifically the US are not being honest about what is going on here, or why.

No sh!t.

Why all the deception?

Well, there has been speculation...and a Ukrainian press release from 2020 has surfaced on Rumble.

Make of it what you will. It's complicated and dirty. I'm still trying to piece it all together. Throwing out the most salacious and far fetched nonsense and looking for motivation. I think this would certainly motivate someone.

EVERYTHING, and I do mean EVERYTHING your are reading, seeing or hearing is PROPAGANDA regarding this situation by one side or the other.

The one thing you can be sure of: You are being lied to.
