If the USA told China that Ukraine joining NATO was a done deal, knowing they would tell Putin, then it was probably Biden’s handlers that provoked the war.

Ukraine is not a member of NATO.

Ukraine was denied entry to NATO in 2008 by Germany and France.

Ukraine is not going to be a member of NATO.

Fake News to justify a Despot’s territorial war of expansion.

NATO expansion toward Russia during their period of weakness after the fall of the USSR acted like a slow-motion Versaille Treaty, spurring Russia to rearm with new generations of weapons, while America and NATO wasted their militaries on useless sandbox wars and ruined them with the woke CRT-globo-homo agenda.

Former Soviet satellite countries don’t need NATO, they could just form their own military pact friendly to NATO and Russia would still be mad.

The Russia-Ukraine war will likely end in one of three ways:

Or, Ukrainians kill Russians with western weapons till they leave. Sounds good.

World War One begat World War Two
The Cold War seems to have begat war in Ukraine
Let us pray it does not evolve into World War Three.

Predicted the Ukraine war THIRTY years ago?

How dare you offer an explanation for how we could have avoided killing so many people. Putin is a mad-man and is solely responsible for his actions. Just because we poked him with a stick is no reason for Putin to bite like he did. Stop trying to justify the murderous tyrranical comminist [even if he forbids the communist party in Russia].

We prefer ignorance here on FR.

Putin has made his desire to restore the USSR clear. That is why Georgia and Ukraine wanted to be part of NATO. But Ukraine could not be part of NATO last year because of territorial disputes and the need for all 30 members of NATO to accept its application. Putin’s excuse was asinine. His justification to destroy a nation based on false history channeled Hitler and Stalin.

If the USSR had not allied with the Nazis in 1939 to carve up Eastern and Central Europe, there would have been no invasion of the USSR. Now Putin is repeating this error, placing Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary on his imperial borders.

It’s just a subset of the “let’s celebrate the gassing of Syrians” thinkers who still support Putin now.

The Russians fail to comprehend just how intensely their murders and other violence towards people in Central Europe has caused modern Central Europeans to greatly fear the Russians. The current War in Ukraine has only made this Fear worse. Putin’s concerns over Russia future security have become self-fulfilling by his own aggressive Murderous and violent War he started in Ukraine. It’s important for folks that start Wars to remember that they don’t get to choose when it ends or what the limits of scope may be.
