No - the only “defense” he’s getting here is that he’s being provoked by the globalists who seem willing to risk nuclear war but without sending in any actual troops but keep threatening Russia anyway.
They’re trying to say Trump is “pro-Putin” but he’s only pointed out that Putin attacked because Biden is weak because Biden won’t actually mount a real defense.

No conservative supports Putin. Period.
Except we are not doing very much. It is the EU, NATO, and others who are doing the heavy lifting. And they aren’t doing it to help Hunter Biden. And if you believe Hunter Biden couldn’t make a new deal with Russian cronies instead of Ukie cronies then you need to learn more about the nature of corruption.
What causes mixed feelings is the fact that Ukraine is a very corrupt country that the democrats and the deepstate use to launder money among other things.

Is the Western media covering the tracks of high-placed politicians who have taken billions of Ukraine bribe money?
Are the Russians really bent out of shape about the West pushing for NATO or EU status for the Ukraine, when there was a tacit agreement that the West wouldn’t do that?

I was in the Jimmuh Army and a lot of us were seriously concerned the Warsaw Pact would launch a conventional attack on Western Europe believing Jimmuh wouldn't have the balls to use nuclear arms in defense. Thankfully, we never found out.

It predates that. The Putin worship starting during the Obama years. It was all in good fun at first with Putin on horseback memes. But some good folks took it too far and now they won’t go back no matter the evidence.

They are gaslighting folks using the criticism Biden rightly is getting as fodder (crapping on Biden equals endorsing Putin) and the sentiment that the USA should stay the hell out of the conflict (dems never saw a war they didnt like) as “proof” the GOP wants the Ukraine destroyed. These simple notions put together makes you a supporter of Russia apparently.
The pubs don’t have an effective media machine to get corrections or even a clear message out. They just sit there while the MSM lies about them.
